NPR did a whole bit on trying to buy comic book characters from DC and Marvel that were all below D-List tier.

None of the companies were selling because even the most joking of joke characters can be turned into billion dollar merch given the right circumstances. There are public domain comic book heroes, but they're all from smaller publishers who went bankrupt or independent creators.

What about a Stardust vs Captain Marvel match. He is basically invincible and have a pleatora of super powers that fall into the unfair camp, like his "depending of the story" superpower.

I always thought this level of Consoomer was just a meme. I've watched all the MCU up to Endgame, and some of it was pretty good for what it was, but a lot of it is objectively fucking trash or just a waste of time (Thor 2 is both, incidentally). How low do your standards have to be that you cape this hard for such a bland, committee-driven product.

Also, Blade and Punisher: War Zone are the only good Marvel movies; die mad about it Coyote Stark.

Look at the utterly ludicrous ban reasons on that shithole of a site. Because HURR DURR because I'm LITERALLY A FUCKING exceptional individual.
Right I mean, how fucking soft can someone be over something like this, mind you he was being courteous and patient and these faggots decide to gangbang him and ban him for "inflammatory accusations and hostility against users and staff." How ludicrous do you need to be to ban someone for a trifle like that? Unfuckingbelievable.

Yeah shit like Thor 2 was crap, they did give lesser heroes a proper treatment though. I mean both Ant-Man movies were not the best, but they were probably better than anything previously featuring ant-man.

This current lot of marvel movies on streaming services are all garbage though. Disney is probably looking to bank heavily on X-Men and Fantastic Four which will then revive the MCU because Wolverine sells no matter what.

Yeah polka dot man suddenly being worth millions out of nowhere comes to mind.

10 years from now exactly two Marvel heroes will keep selling: Spider-Man and Wolverine
For DC it will be Batman and (partially) Superman

The rest will be declining fandoms.

I am surprised that Alec Baldwin thread is so full of people worrying over him and wishing him sympathy and saying "Oh gosh I hope he's alright".

They've made it to 11 pages and 500+ replies without anyone bringing up the fact that Baldwin had Woody Allen on his podcast last summer and spent to whole episode fawning over the guy and politely dismissing the accusations against him. Will the peace last, I wonder?

Yes I'm sure the propmaster wanted to ruin his career and be put in legal hotwater because Alec Baldwin did the rarest thing ever and mocked Donald Fucking Trump.

It's not at all because the producers (which includes Baldwin) allowed an unsafe work environment to occur which was so bad that workers on the film walked out before the deadly shooting occurred.

By unsafe what do you mean? Usually unions and large film companies jump down the throat of anything risky. Like what stopped them this time compared to every other time?
