Nintendo banned a whole bunch of words including COVID and coronavirus, but also lots of "politically charged" ones, from all their games period at one point last year. I remember someone complaining they couldn't put ACAB in their name for Splatoon or something. I would assume they just don't want anything even remotely controversial on a service they're aiming at kids and families even if it's actually dominated by what are presumably 30 year old genderqueers.
