There was a similar one to that in one of the threads foaming about JK over in the RPG.net thread. Someone going on about how so much more intelligent and well-informed people like them would be than wizards because they have the internet. It's nice to see the JK hate make these people voice their stupidity for everyone to hear.

If it's the number I'm thinking of, it's not even a stat from the USA or the UK - it's trans prostitutes in Brazil. Prostitution is already a dangerous job to begin with so no shit people get murdered a lot in that field.

theres some stupid website setup that tracks all troon murders, and yes a great deal of them are in brazil, but someone here did the math about all of them worldwide and its a ludicrously low number

Why do these fucking larpers all need therapists? Every single one of them seems to be on various meds for anxiety and they all have therapists.
I get it, a first responder that gets to a site and it is gnarly and whatever, or a soldier having to carry his best friend that just got his legs blown off to safety needs a therapist to talk to.

But these fuckers? What and why do these people need a therapist for? Because someone said something mean on the internet?

As someone who considered themselves "progressive" back in the 90's, I'm constantly mystified by this shit. Nepenthe says "Black people have no reason to respect your arbitrary moral codes when all they do is uphold systems of oppression".

Ok, so 1) the moral codes clearly aren't arbitrary - it's a recognition that in order to have free speech, or freedom of expression, you can't have violence as a "reasonable response" to any type of speech. Clearly, if I'm allowed to punch you any time you say something I don't like, that's going to have a chilling effect on what opinions you voice, right? Even a developmentally challenged individual can follow this.

Then we have 2), Black people should be held to a lesser moral standard than Huwhite people? Why? Because they're just naturally violent? They have poorer impulse control? I was always taught that people of all races should be treated equally, but now in space year 2022 I'm being told that that was wrong. Black people should be held to a lesser standard.

I honestly feel like the progressive left has made me into a racist. Really. I didn't start this way, but now I'm being told that belief in equality between the races was always false and inequitable. What other conclusion can I come to?

And if Black people really can't follow the rules of western society, well, what's the next logical step?
