I don't know much about Vaush aside from the pedo/horsecock memes, but heres nepenthe ranting about him

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer did an interview with one Kara Swisher, a j**rnalist that writes opinion columns for NYT and who is dubbed "feared" and "powerful" in Silicon Valley by various outlets. The podcast interview is framed as an understanding of the Metaverse thru Gaming, which just goes to show people's utter lack of understanding of tech ala blockchains and NFTs, and hilarious considering that Microsoft doesn't even have a VR solution. Other topics follow.

Swisher leads Spencer from question to question, making no effort to hide her political bent. She asks about trolling, online anonymity and Gamergate. Spencer spells out that Microsoft centralizes your accounts across their services (which is obvious), and have the ability to significantly impact the "gaming identity and availability" of those found to be "misbehaving" by who-knows-who's given standards. Given the scale of Microsoft as a transnational corporation, it's probably safe to excise the "gaming" word out of that sentence.

He says that they're continuing to work on this, and that millions of conversations and interactions will have to be monitored and moderated by automated solutions via things like the Cloud.

As if the left have not been infiltrating the entertainment sector and pushing propaganda since the 1920s, she names "evil" Steve Bannon in relation to Gamergate, where the singular and tangential, media-spun link is a cancelled speech in which he was going to talk about about "how he believes “economic nationalism” will allow for a higher number of minorities to get jobs in sectors like computer science and gaming", according to Wired (https://archive.md/47Qvp). She asks if vidya has a link to polarization, which leads to Spencer saying that Xbox is not a free speech platform, which then leads her to press Spencer about who is doing the "best job" of moderation between the vidya sector and social media firms like Twitter and Facebook. Spencer chuckles nervously and says everyone's got work to do, which Swisher bemoans as a lame answer and "lay-up".

Swisher then pushes Spencer on the Activision-Blizzard crap and doesn't get the promise of revoking Activision's viyda license without Bobby Kotick's resignation her ilk would want. She brings up GDC 2016, at which Xbox hired some dancers (no, not that type of dancer) and Spencer immediately cucks on that as a "painful moment", in which entirely autonomous women were paid for their choreographical services at a party.

Reee serves up a summary, and the usual:

The intense hate for Kotick from the left is so puzzling. What exactly has he done to earn so much hate? As far as I know he’s just a typical super rich guy. I get that they have to hate anyone who’s rich (except Bill Gates because he cares about important things like depopulating Africa), but Kotick seems to get a lot more hate than the average rich CEO.

I have to assume it’s because he’s a ginger, one of the few minorities you’re still allowed to hate unconditionally.

He threatened to murder his secretary, plus the rape claims at Blizzard, and gutting Blizzard and Activision.

It’s probably mostly the last one tbh.
He supported Hillary, but that’s not enough to repent for no more Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
