Ironically, Rpg Codex users are far more respectful than those of ReEra. Sure, they might call you names, but many of them will still take the time to argue why they think what you're saying is disagreeable - and you can insult them right back, with no repercussions. Also, calling someone a "fag" is almost a friendly greeting over there; quite often, there's no real malice behind it.
Anytime there's a anonymous poll it's pretty obvious that most users are moderate. Someone will post a question like "Are you still going to buy games from CD Projekt Red?" and the responses are like 85% Yes. Then a bunch of spazzes freak out out because the forum isn't as progressive as they thought it was. "I am ASHAMED that so many people will keep supporting this developer!"
I'm not. They self-selected into the new site by collectively wanting to be part of #metoo, so it started as the absolute dregs of the existing community. Since the move, they've just intensified the process of distilling it down to the worst of the worst.
