Specifically, Wakanda is an updated "Lost City." Historically, it's interesting because 1) he's the first major black superhero and 2) Wakanda, unlike most Lost Cities of Africa, is actually inhabited by black people.

I am convinced that the only reason he posted the Helena Taylor article was because she was guilty of wrongthink. That's one of those big realizations about people like Schrier and the Era types. People keep hoping for the pendulum to swing back but only a handful of people who went too far too publicly and people who can't read a room will be crushed by the pendulum.
