No, they are hidden but accesible if you know where to click in both the desktop and mobile sites, and I am pretty sure the numbers are inflated.

This is just some random Indian dude? Yet we have Neoxon and other "experts" taking his tweets as some kind of actual breakdown of the weekend box office demographics? Disney or somebody specifically surveyed the box office goers at enough locations to create a representative sample then passed along the results to some Indian guy?

There is nothing black about black panther and there never has been. I don't give a shit how many blacks are on the cast. The character was made by a white man, Wakanda was thought up by white men. The futuristic african society they thought up had blacks still dressing in animal skins and having a monarchy, and worshiping animal spirits like base primitives. It's the racist noble savage trope writ large.

Specifically, Wakanda is an updated "Lost City." Historically, it's interesting because 1) he's the first major black superhero and 2) Wakanda, unlike most Lost Cities of Africa, is actually inhabited by black people.

I know this is late but hole shit. Jason Schrier might be the "best" gaming journo (UpperEchelon is better) but he is SUCH a hack. I am convinced that the only reason he posted the Helena Taylor article was because she was guilty of wrongthink. If she was not, nothing would have been posted, just like he knew about Activision-Blizzard shit.

I agree with you on that, as soon as the tide turned on her it was safe for him to trash her. Some people actually held this up as an example of him not being biased.

That's one of those big realizations about people like Schrier and the Era types. People keep hoping for the pendulum to swing back but only a handful of people who went too far too publicly and people who can't read a room will be crushed by the pendulum. Most of them will disappear for a few seconds only to come back at the rightest right winger you can imagine.
