Speaking from experience, I highly recommend banging at least one uggo while you're still young because not only is it probably going to be an easy lay, it gets you past that awkward young "how do I talk to girl" phase once you realize that when the lights are off, they're all the same. Several of their mods were deeply involved in the Xbox Ambassador program, and their shielding for Microsoft over the last few years has been utterly insane, even banning users who were opposed to, or even mildly concerned about, the Microsoft buyout of Activision.

I'd say he's half right - Starship Troopers is a terrible satire of fascism. All of the satirized elements - propaganda, militarism, limited franchise - existed before fascism, in societies of various types. The fascist part basically just ends up being Doogie Howser's SS costume. It's a decent satire of militarism and of goofy gung-ho military movies, with the platonic ideal of the underacheiver who finds his purpose as an aphorism-spouting hardass who was forged in deadly training and honed under the command of psychopathically ruthless leaders (even if they had to completely re-learn the concept of combined arms long into the era of easy interstellar travel.)
