It's literally medical malpractice but yeah it's no big thing because those people he's inflicting pain on have different opinions. Different opinions are literally murder, who cares if someone gets thrombophlebitis from a deranged phlebotomist with a vendetta against certain political opinions.

About a day after it was found out that Titanoboa's name got changed to Already Torn, he got banned. He didn't post a single thing since the cleanup job, so I think it's obvious Besada found out the name change became public and is now just giving him a new account.

The Dave Chappelle thread was hilarious. Lots of people mad about jokes. Some of them even attacked Lord Virgin for attending.

All right, Galadriel. Despite you being possibly the most thin-skinned person here, as evidenced by that last little bit telling that user to go fuck themselves, I'll engage you. It's not pathetic or absurd to want to hold someone who founded a site you enjoy browsing to a higher standard. It wasn't even a direct attack on you. It certainly wasn't indirectly calling you a virgin, which as we all know is the most insulting thing you can be called and most be dealt with in the harshest of ways. So far, I haven't see a single person who is criticizing these jokes be legitimately unwilling to have a real discussion or shut down one. You aren't being condemned, Tyler the Creator. You just can't take a joke.

So yeah, let's be real: there are plenty of people on GAF who kinda hate this place but use it because there isn't a good alternative, and there are loads of people not on GAF who fucking abhore it. But here's the rub- you could have a great thing here, Tyler. A well-moderated forum that isn't filled with insane people who can't take criticism could be fantastic.

The gay and trans stuff in the first special is some weak shit. A gay superhero who's defined by his habit of changing clothes all the time? The gayest member of a gay couple should be the "wife"? Trans women tricking guys into fucking them? It's not actually oversensitive in the least to take issue with this retrograde nonsense. "Tone" and "context" really aren't valid excuses here. He didn't deliver this stuff with a wink.

I get that part of Dave's comedy persona is to act like so-called PC objections are for whiners and elitists or whatever, but if he's going to go out of his way to be transgressive, he could at least have reasonably clever punchlines and avoid unironically reinforcing backward stereotypes.

In the age of Wikipedia and vlogging, it's not actually very hard at all to understand where LGBT people are coming from, and show a minimum of respect by, say, not repeating the demeaning lie that all gay men are hyperfeminized sissies, and not referring to trans women like they're men who chopped their dicks off to improve their "disguises." It's not funny or even particularly bold. It's just parroting ignorant opinions and inviting people to laugh in recognition.

Age isn't an excuse for someone like Dave Chapelle, an intelligent and worldly man who's had the opportunity to meet all kinds of people. This shit belongs back in the 90's where a comedian could still plausibly claim not to get "those people."

If anyone finds his criminal record (Christopher Goldberg from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania) make a thread. I've only found his drug arrest from last year but he claims to have been arrested for beating up his mom and hitchhiking. He's also said that he gets into a bunch of fights and robbed houses as a teenager. I used to think he was just an edge lord (before that meant pedophile) but after that drug arrest some of it's true. The only thing that's changed in the last 10 years is that he doesn't brag as much.

I don't know why Evilore still puts up with him. He was a moderator for years and he wasn't demodded for being a lowlife criminal. Today the forum would hang him from the rafters for jizzing on a photo of another member's girlfriend and sharing it around. He didn't even get demodded for using his mom's medical money (which he begged from the forum) to buy drugs. He got demodded because the sack of shit would go back and edit his posts to win arguments.

Statements like this only happen because fatalities in the United States from terrorism are extraordinarily rare. If he lived in one of the few states where violent Islamism is a significant cause of death and destruction, he'd quickly change his tune.

He also probably wouldn't be using NeoGAF. I doubt their user base from anywhere suffering serious civil strife is very large, though I have seen Afghans, Pakistanis, Yemenis, Syrians, Somalis, Egyptians, and Iraqis on Reddit and YouTube before.
