In this fucked up society, the family can abandon the baby to the state without a problem. As for the hospital bill? They should fight it legally if it's true that they did not ask for the mother to be kept alive. Given that this case is so unique, new laws may even have to be created over it. In my state, you can't be sued over medical debt but I doubt Georgia is so lucky.

As for the baby's condition, what I want to know is- are we killing retarded children or not? Is everyone valuable or are we doing eugenics? The problem with drawing a line (abortion) is now, the entire argument revolves around where that line ought to be. In the UK, it is now legal to induce an abortion right up to active labor. Day-of. Why stop there? Should I decapitate my 2-yo because he has a speech delay and a pectus excavatum? It is better to be 'dead' than 'essentially fucked'? Can we poll cripples and ask how many are cool with having their skulls pierced with a steel rod?

I don't really want to derail the thread with an abortion argument, but society really needs to decided what life, absent from any other context, is actually worth.
 
How are bluesky/resetera users so stupid? How is their first reaction not "people answered an online poll by trolling" which is what always happens? No one legitimately thinks Iran is in Europe, Australia, or the Ocean...

For some reason there's a whole crusade against Xbox, but nobody cries about Andor or the Disney/Marvel content that's all over the Off Topic forum. The amount of anti-west and pro-Iran stuff in their thread about the Jews attacking Iran is fucking hilarious. Some of them are really not good at hiding their fantasies of Israel falling. Didn't think I'd see RetardEra dream of Iran getting nukes, the country that tries to organize terrorist attacks worldwide, is responsible for half a million dead civilians in Syria and sows chaos in Iraq with over 50 proxy groups, not to mention funding Hezbollah and Hamas. Amazing mental gymnastics.

Israel's kill count isn't even close to Iran's. Fuck, Iran over the last 10 years has had their hands in more death than the Jews in the last 100, yet they won't shut the fuck up about Gaza.

Even if Iran wasn't pursuing nukes they'd still deserve it.

They keep trying to push this narrative of Israel being an authoritarian state that won't let any media out about the missiles that land, all because Reuters got told to stop filming the skyline during attacks because it could aid targeting so now all the live cameras usually point up at the sky when the sirens sound. There is still a ton of footage showing damage and people crowding around areas that got hit, so I don't know why they are trying to come up with this false narrative that there's some sort of media blackout.

Yeah, I didnt even try screenshotting or posting about those topics here because its just 90% of the thread. Its just a never ending stream of posts about how america, israel, and twitter are evil. Iran needs nukes NOW, Iran is going to resist the west with the help of Russia/China/Yemen/India or whatever, etc.
