Check @Bullet Club’s earlier posts in this thread for the name of the admin, but several mods, admins and celebrity users from Reeeee were in a private Xbox shill discord for years.
Reeee was fully fooled into parroting the “XBox is the most consumer-friendly console” bullshit in 2020-2023.

It will be funny to keep an eye out for this since I've always gotten a laugh out of the way most of them met on NeoGAF yet they refuse to refer to it by name and call it "the other place" or something like that. I wonder if they'd do the same for ResetERA the moment it is of no use to them. Jesus, I guess they're doing that as some form of troonery deadname crap now that I think about it.

Don't preserve the OG and make it available, change it constantly, or remake it entirely so it doesn't resemble the initial game at all. Re-re-release everything again and again.

Yeah you can tell that Microsoft flooded the gaming “community” with shillbuxx to heavily promote Gamepass. It was Microsoft’s Hail Mary pass to try to make Xbox a viable brand.
NeoGAF promoting Sony heavily was more of a mid 2000s through mid 2010s thing. I remember a secret forum was created so tards like BruceLeeRoy could spend weeks crafting their special Killzone OPs. There were a few former jannies who later said that SCEA or whatever they were calling themselves then were giving them various art assets to help build these over the top shill OPs.

Is it just me, or are the OPs of MMO st Official Threads on GAF just godawful, unreadable shit?
We are talking GameFan-level unreadable in the ones where the thread creators put the text as images, usually some font that would be fine for a title, but are hell for block text?
Also, does anyone else hate the morons who will post pictures of box art instead of just typing in the titles of games in the list threads?

Final Fantasy VII in its original form is literally available on every modern platform.
Don't want to play Remake? Then don't. You aren't saving the world by bitching about it, and honestly, Remake is a good game on its own merits.
Also, not a single remaster so far has been made by the main dev team for any series. They are farmed out to external devs or used to train rookies, so remastering an old game isn't taking any resources away from new projects, and in many cases have made money that helped finance new installments.
There is no downside to remasters.
Remakes can suck, but that is life, and the originals are usually still out there if people want to play them. The remakes are also not usually done by the main teams.
Stuff like the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection and the HD-2D Dragon Quest and other Square Enix Remakes have been great ways to play some older games, and in some cases have quality of life options that can make the games a lot less grindy, like increasing XP and Gil in Final Fantasy.
