A lot of GAF like to remain blissfully ignorant of the mods power trips and generally stick to their respective community threads. Thus for the most part, the sane posters can probably be found in the threads the SJW's most detest like the animu waifu games and niche titles nobody cares enough to pitch a fit about. Still get some who are a little too into that sort of thing, but GAF tends to forget that the niche anime titles also have female fans too, so one of the few places where the female members are not going to end up with white knights shitting the threads for thy honour.

Even those threads aren't safe on Neogaf. The DoAX 3 thread got shut down for awhile because they were posting screenshots of the DoA girls in the skimpiest bikinis which triggered Aneana and the trannies.

The mods and their understudies said there's no point in a public Amir0x thread because it would just devolve into the same handful of posts. Yet they allowed a thread about a racist encounter between an Asian woman and a White man run for over 1100 posts (more than both the deleted and locked Amir0x threads combined) despite it being the same old virtue signaling garbage.

Oh wait, it wasn't. This one's OP had a single dodgy source no one called out. How dodgy? The site's called Angry Asian Man, so you know it'll be fair to both parties. It's really not as bad as I was expecting from that name (there are plenty of extremely bitter "I hate whitey!" male Asian American internet communities) but I don't think a site that runs a story about a Muslim teen getting murdered by an illegal Hispanic immigrant (an aspect the author neglected to mention despite having both the guy's mugshot and name) is somehow tied to Donald Trump and hate crimes committed by white people against every brown person ever passes Neogaf's usual strict standards. Are the author's eyes so slanted he couldn't make out that the suspect he posted a photo of didn't really look white or have a white American name? Truly a trustworthy source.

They even included a partial dox of the guy in the OP. Had his full name and his place of employment (which definitely doesn't sound like a witch hunt to try to ruin his life) in there despite the only verification of that being the guy came from the internet police. That's okay on Neogaf, a random person saying some racist things after a road rage incident is definitely more important than a major member of the community getting arrested for possession of child porn.

Speaking of things more important than a resident pedo. The Neogaf Twitter account had no problem virtue signaling about a racist Hispanic video game player and the Paris Agreement but has nothing to say about Amir0x.

NeoGAF literally tries to silence accusations of paedophilia, but will happily allow said paedophile to post about how the Conservatives should be gassed?

What I wouldn't give to see what the mods and admins are saying on their little private subforums. I bet it's utter panic.

Whatever people may say about SA, this is the same thing on steroids. Hapless brodude stumbles across internet success, but being meek and eager to please has his online estate infested by bizarre authoritarian freaks who spend their entire lives there because that's where they have power and sway.

I can hardly open the place, not for the 99% socjus/1% vidya focus, but the dire quality of the posts. Half of them seem to be three words, just to fill up pages.

That place needs a flamethrower through the mod ranks (though honestly a call to the feds may do just fine), but yeah, lil' Evil is under the heel of his SJ mods and at least we get scenes like these - idiots defending the FORUM REPUTATION of a place that's become an internet punchline.

Anyone wishing death upon a liberal judge would get permanently banned right then and there. That wouldn't have even been a controversial ban that made it to the hate sites. But Amir0x was definitely treated like every other member.

Besada claims to have hated Amir0x since before the obese guy became a mod. He became a moderator in January 2014. In December of that year, after Amir0x got another slap on the wrist ban, the two had this public twitter chat:

You can just feel Besada's hatred for him in that text. That's why they followed each other on Twitter to have a private conversation.

I can't confirm it since Amir0x lost a lot of twitter followers this week and none of the mods are currently following him, but I've got a feeling there were a couple that only bailed that sinking ship once this news broke.

How many of the people in that thread who were posting "I can't believe how many racist white people in this thread are defending this guy" or a variation on that (about half the thread) do you think actually believe that, and how many of them do you think know that's bullshit?

Oh I never said they were totally safe, I remember when Criminal Girls was coming out and there was a whole to do about it practically being loli so GAF promptly declared that such a game should have no OT and deleted the whole thread. It generally has to be a game that toes the line between acceptable and not acceptable in spite of SJW disgust. Otherwise yes only takes one outraged tattler to get one of the extreme mods in.

GAF has always had this problem, I think it's part of the issue of the forum being so big in it's heyday. At least back in 2005 you would get people posting entertaining gifs and emoticon only replies kind of like SA. But then the mod team decided to ban both thinking this would encourage more "grown up" discussion instead of a bunch of image only posts to one well thought out post. But yeah now all that really happens is you will get canned responses to threads.

I mean honestly why would you put thought into a decent post anyway. Odds are unless its virtue signalling guff it'll just alert someone who might detect wrongthink. Just say something simple like the herd, there you go.

Lowtax genuinely seems to detest the SJW stuff though is fairly liberal himself. But no denying he's far from happy at the current state of SA. He sort of half heartedly made an attempt to sort things out but then gave up at first sign of resistance anyway.

Evillore I don't think is really the same, outside that they both own massive forums. Think he buys a bit more into the mod teams POV than Lowtax. But is more legit a twat whereas Lowtax can be okay but is bad at business (and deducing people) and lazy. Essentially SA maybe has more of a chance at recovery, but GAF is pretty much rotten at the core. `

If I recall, couple years ago Tyler Malka was banned from attending E3. Not because he sexually assaulted a girl while on vacation in Thailand, but because neogaf was deemed not a valid gaming journalism website. He and the other neofaggots were extremely salty and they chimped out.

He's desperate for the industry to take neogaf seriously yet hired creepy stalkers, perverts, degenerates and pedophiles as moderators. No one cares, forums with harsh moderation and social justice spin are dying. The industry can reach gamers via Reddit and Twitter without dealing with a rapist like Tyler Malka.
