Since his days as a moral faggot are clearly numbered, the only chance to salvage anything would be to change his tune. TBH after reading the accusation. A person in a relationship decides to meet up with a friend for drinks. Heads back to a shared room. Apparently so wasted they have to take a shower. Friend gets into shower while also wasted, thinking this is the time to get some. Doesn't happen. Friend is pissed. Then apparently they are still fine with meeting up with them at other times though.
How come a lot of these "me too" posts end up being girls who were seemingly gave out all the signals they were ready to go and then had a crisis of concience about cheating at the last second? You would actually be completely correct. Social Justice Warriors are never a majority, no matter what the platform. Seriously, even in areas that are largely considered hellholes completely shored up with them, they aren't even a considerable majority of the site. They're just really good at being really loud at once, and through that, are really good at leveraging their Autism in unison.
The numbers vary depending on who you consult, but on Twitter - generally a site considered as much of a hugbox as one is likely to find - self-described feminists account for about 18% of Twitter. That includes the legit ones, as well as the crazies we make fun of on the Farms.
For actual people who describe themselves as Social Justice Warriors, the number is around 8%. This is a major reason that anyone who seeks to market to these clowns is digging their own grave.

GAF's always been a shithole, but it only became the biggest, most emniently mockable shithole around 2014. Their practice of banning anyone who disagreed really hit its stride during GG, and with good reason: GAF's staff was squarely on Zoe Quinn's side from the start (especially given that the indie press was happily kissing her ass). If GAF's staff had just let discussion happen, consequences be damned, and hadn't gone ban-crazy trying to enforce ideological conformity at proverbial gunpoint, there's an argument to be made that this lovely meltdown of NeoGAF's never would have occurred.
I'd argue that it merely hastened the inevitable, though.

Eventually they have enough to screech up a storm and look like they're more agreed with than they are. Plus most people don't give a shit about their bullshit, and are more likely to just say fuck it, I'm out of here, and go somewhere else, leaving them even more in control.
Then they slowly ratchet it up until they inevitably kill the host, but they don't really care. They can metastasize elsewhere.
