Well I can't say I disagree with the man. If a white American tried to teach the history of an African nation to an African person there would be much reeeeeeing and cries of WHITESPLAINING. "White people" are no more a single homogenous ethnicity than African people. In fact, if you lumped some African ethnicities in with others they'd probably thump you.

Show me someone still obsessed with GG and I'll show you an angry failure with nothing better to do. In John's and Chelsea's cases, GG was literally the only time they mattered at all to anyone.

Exactly. A lot of extreme anti-GG spergs have no other merits. It's the only way they feel important, by bitching about it. Meanwhile, the game devs they're bitching about are successful people who don't have time or desire to even care because they've got shit to do.

To be entirely fair, most of the replies are pointing out the sheer stupidity of the OP, pointing out Red Dead's spaghetti western influences.

They even point out how the guy's "guns are primitive weapons" idea is dumb as well and that guns are more advanced than spears. I'm a little shocked people are pointing out that guns are better than spears and the staff aren't misconstruing it as racism.

While this is more from the realms of Twitter, it is related in being similar: you have game devs whose politics or whatever don't sit well with some with some spergs and it becomes a reason to not buy the game.

On a side note, why in the fuck do some people even give a shit over a game not having black people in it? Far as I know about Medieval Bohemia, wouldn't it be a backwater kingdom compared to a place like say Medieval Italy in terms of having non-Europeans in it that aren't raiders and such? Even then, this shit is rather autistic. There are better reasons to not buy a game than just some game dev shitflinging on Twitter. While these spergs complain about video games and shit, people like Vavra are working on a game that is more or less their vision.

It was part of the Holy Roman Empire. Being landlocked, and landlocked by mountains at that, it wasn't exactly a thriving trade route the way that the Hanseatic cities of Northern Germany were, or Venice, or similar. That being said, there were many ethnicities that did go there or inhabit it, but they were almost all European with the exception of certain Turkic steppe-dwellers (who are in the game, I believe).

Said. While the argument "speak with your wallet" or whatever is valid, it sadly doesn't apply to a lot of SJW shits who are just in it for the virtue points. Think of refusing to buy games from those guys as exactly like comicsgate. The fucks being the loudest over political or race related stuff are the ones who were never buying it anyway.

So devs are right to just move on and make the game how they see fit. They're the ones making the games, not those ungrateful shits.

The tweets are more or less related to the sort of salt Vavra (and by extension another game dev) get. People, either those on Twitter or on REEEEEsetera refuse to buy games made by these guys simply because of GG or politics or some shit. They can't separate art from the artist in this case.
