Has the LLC public registration record for ResetEra, LLC ever been pulled by one of you autists? Just curious because I'm not finding it.

I was looking into starting a thread on somebody a while ago that I just dropped out of boredom, but one of the things I did was set up a Google Sheets spreadsheet linking to the the Secretary of State business registration pages for 48 of the 50 states. (New Hampshire requires registration to view -- which I ain't doing -- and Indiana is just exceptional, at least on Chrome.)

I've tried about 20 states so far, with no luck. If anybody wants to match my :autism: you can view the Sheet here:

Business Entities

Should be viewable by anyone, but not editable. Click on the hotlink for Alabama or whatever and go to town. The search capability on each state's site also varies wildly. Some only seem to allow it from the start of the business name, etc. Some need old school * or % for wildcarding stuff. A few are actually pretty good.

Lots of Reset, LLCs, Reset Your Heart, LLCs, etc. in a bunch of different states. But no ResetEra, LLC that I can find. Maybe they're in NH or IN or maybe my search skills are as bad as I think they are. Or maybe I'm just not finding it because it isn't there.

FWIW, this /v/NeoFag thread says their WhoIs is proxied in Arizona. First state I tried. Needless to say, no dice.

I figure since all this is all very public and on governmental websites I'm hardly being the HaX0r king here.

There's not much to it as far as I remember. GAFugees began heading to Giant Bomb once the purge began but a lot of Giant Bomb posters made comments along the lines of "We don't want NeoGAF posters here, piss off." I'm sure someone can dig up the relevant screencaps.

When NeoGAF died, there was a big exodus by the Gaffots as they tried to find a new homeland to shit up. There was several tribes that went in separate directions, the thought being that if any of the communities that they could call home got a sufficient saturation of their kind, the rest would migrate there soon enough and the result would be everything being like it was. Aside from a small contingent that tried to take back the holy land that was their home site, expeditionary groups were formed and went to numerous other websites. The difference: Unlike Old NeoGAF, which was 90% identity politics and witch-hunting with the framework of a games forum around it, the new websites they went to were legitimate game sites and the Gaffots repeatedly found themselves unwelcome.

The Escapist, IGN, and numerous other forums responded with uncharacteristic viciousness towards the Gafugees, and gave them an ultimatum: Assimilate to the culture of the new forum (I.E. ditch the identity politics shit) or fuck off. Giant Bomb, GameFAQs, and many other sites were even more hardcore in their stance, making patently clear that GAF's identity politicians would not be tolerated.

GAF's supporters were pissed. Hell, look at this one from GAF orbiter brigade USGamer:

In a bizarre moment of cross-community harmony, pretty much everyone was happy GAF died, except, of course, NeoGAF itself, who hilariously were the ones who burned their homes down in the first place. The ones trying to take back old NeoGAF abandoned the crusade when Tyler Malka learned to adult, which left only three outlets available for them: ResetERA, Waypoint, and Reddit.
