To clarify, he also posted on Neogaf during its height. He was banned, multiple times, with the mods straight up calling him a pedophile working for a pedophile company. And yet he's STILL giving them the benefit of the doubt. Goddamn dude, just give up on these people, they fucking hate your guts. Look at the sorta stuff he said regarding the recent controversy, that's the shit that would get your crucified with a big fat (PERMANENT) over there.

They're at an odd impasse.

A huge population of Resetera loves the Trails series and other Falcolm games and only trust Xseed to translate them properly.

4chan users on /v/ are especially upset about this "yas queen" audience embracing the series.

It's pretty typical that any site that is pure politics is going to attract extremely low quality advertisers. It's typical for political spastics to go after the advertisers of political shit they don't like.

Look at the kind of advertisers Alex Jones gets for instance, or Breitbart after SJWs went after their advertisers.

Emphasis mine, but this ain't no indie game. This is first party Sony VR stuff. So what this really is is the old Sony fanfaggotry from the neogaf era resurfacing here, not surprising given the people that made the place.
More specifically, Astrobot was originally part of a VR collection of minigames back in... 2016 maybe. Just a short experimental thing. The recent release was an exclusive full VR game. Since 95% of VR releases are either shovelware junk or regular games with a tacked on VR mode, Astrobot is the closest thing to a normal game released on it. It's not bad but it's not even remotely close to Mario, so of course these idiots are jumping on it due to still being "loyal" Sony console warriors.
