True progressives have the memory of goldfish, and the success of their ideology almost requires it. Weren't these the same people shrieking about the Texas 2 that shot the psycho that was waving a bat at them, over a dirty mattress no less? The extreme narrowness of self defense laws in some states boggles the mind, and it isn't the fault of anyone right of Chomsky. That's why you can get locked up for shooting someone that has broken into your house while you're sleeping in New York, but can shoot the guy that molested your daughter weeks after he's been arrested and get away with it in Texas. When Joe Schmoe shoots someone actively threatening their life, progressives call for stiffer punishment and less mercy, but when a whaman of color kills someone that is a less immediate threat and in a more vengeful manner, justified by victim status, then it's an injustice to not let her walk. The willful ignorance of their own inconsistent rhetoric and double standards would make you think they would be a party on the absolute fringes of society, but yet here we are, talking about them like equals.

Doesn't Redcrayon know that intent doesn't matter? I think he should PayPal KetKat some money to make up for this violation. That way he'll think twice about talking back to a VIP, because honestly he'd have been banned if he wasn't a moderator.

On the Persona bullshit, it's stated in game the character Ann Tamazaki is quite comfortable with flaunting her sexuality, as long as it's on her own terms, hence her mental world outfit and her Persona both reflect this. It's a VERY EARLY plot point this would be a problem only if she was being forced to be sexy on terms that weren't her own.
tl;dr: Bigots at REEEsetERA are engaging in slut shaming, how hypocritical.
On the other topic, both user and mods here have had some opinions I find disturbing, fucked up, or utterly asinine, and I'm sure some have felt the same way about some of mine. That's the risk of posting on a forum, where exchange of views makes this inevitable. Anyone who is triggered by this outcome is an idiot.

I have a question about the whole "character agency and free will" argument I see on Era and other places.
According to Era, fictional characters have agency and free will that is defiled when an artist "forces" them to wear skimpy clothes. But if created so the character likes wearing sexy clothes that's not agency or free will because the artist created them to have that opinion.
How does that make any sense? Even if we buy into the ridiculous premise that fictional characters are real and have rights, how does Era know what their decision would be? If wearing revealing clothes is going against that characters will, couldn't you say the same when Era tries to cover them up? Why does KetKat's version of what the character wants more valid than RedCrayon's? And why are both their opinions more valid than the person that made the character?
