When it comes to Kingdom Hearts there seem to be 2 kinds of people. Those that don't give a shit, and those that obsess over it to the point of owning replica keyblades. Anyone who cares about Kingdom Hearts 3 likely already owns it half a dozen times plus all the collectors editions. Era's boycotts are impotent at the best of times but Kingdom Hearts? Good luck.

Between them bring up Shadow Complex and MovieBob complaining about Ubisoft towers I feel like I've traveled back in time to 2008. Is there a reason the far-left is dragging up old gaming controversies everyone else forgot about or can they just not let anything go?

Their boycotts seem to take two forms. There's the virtue-signalling kind, which doesn't mean they won't play the game so much as they've given themselves a moral reason to pirate it. And there's the inconsequential kind, where they were never going to get the game in the first place so it doesn't mean anything for them to be boycotting it anyway.

Unsurprisingly, both are heavy on the performative outrage and light on the actual effort or willpower.

Hades is a very minor villain in the first one, his involvement will be minimal at best. Probably 5 lines like other folks above had guessed. The series is usually about cycling through as many Disney properties as possible as quickly as possible.
