I really just want to see all these "allies" grow their balls back and walk away from this, even the normie ones. Resetera was dead for many days. Barely any gaming thread reached more than 3 pages, the discussions were full of dumb one-liners.

More than 20 pages in less than a day. By far, one of the most popular thread of the month. It tells you alot about what this "gaming" forum is about. They don't care about games unless it's Nintendo or something they can be outraged about.
The other popular thread in the gaming part of Resetera were about TERFs (still in the front page) and Steam VR...
We should make a guideline about how gamers should avoid Resetera like the plague. I would do it myself, but I write like shit.

I haven't watched a single piece of Kinda Funny content since they kicked Colin Moriarty out for wrongthink. Greg's open letter to the community throwing Colin under the bus (while also trying to defend any potentially offensive joke he may have ever made) revealed him to be the snake and sycophant he is.

Greg has always been a bit of a lolcow himself, but I have no issues defending him against outrageous smears. To imply his chubby dumb ass is somehow a Nazi or a Nazi enabler is just peak insanity. At worst he's a shitty soy boy "games journalist". Totally harmless, just to be laughed at.
The thing that differentiates lolcows from their onlookers is the onlookers should be able to honestly defend someone even if they are their enemy. Don't support fake news just because it's a target you don't like. That's what the lolcows do.

I know you're sarcastic but for everyone interested : Cerium handpicks them himself. To be a mod, you must have been on Resetera for long without showing "problematic behavior" (not received any warning/bans which is a feat in itself) and the admin can approve/disapprove. If you want to be an admin, the most common way is to be semi-famous on social medias like Nibel, ZhugeEx or former Emily Rogers (who fucks with a Nintendo higher-up). That way, you can bring your followers into Resetera. Of course, the more Nintendo/anti-steam you are, the better.
SweetNicole was a special case, he knew Cerium beforehand and was already a freak back on Neogaf, Cerium admired him. Nicole "awaken" him when it comes to LGBT.
Cerium is knee deep into transhumanism and sci-fi stuff where "genders" can be swapped around and race/frontier doesn't matter anymore. That's where his utter respect for trans, gay and furry comes from. He suffered from racism and rejection from white people, being an asian living in New York. Resetera is probably a way for him to take revenge on white people.
To be fair, from what I heard about him, he's fairly intelligent. It's also fairly well-known he's frustrated at life, lonely and very hateful as well. He's basically Evilore, but with an higher IQ.
