Shitholes like Resetera are just like the soviets in that they are obsessed with portraying themselves and their repressive dogmatic horseshit as morally perfect and beyond the reproach of filthy outsiders, and to this end they will bury their heads in the sand regarding any evil in their ranks that might cause them to "lose face" in their petty ideological pissing match against all the reactionary capitalist nazis of the world, ESPECIALLY if said evil comes from their main enforcers, and will viciously lash out at any within their system who dare try to actively combat it for fear that their utopia will no longer be "respected".

Say what you like about the KiwiFarms Nigger Parade but we are not at all interested in protecting/maintaing "our good name" or try to spin ourselves as some peerless bastion of virtue and decency, and thus we aint exactly got much motivation to cover shit like this up should it ever occur.

It's interesting that a forum that eagerly seeks out fresh blood to devour, even among its own user base, also engenders discussion between extremely diverse groups of people over a wide range of topics.

I wonder if "an armed society is a polite society'" applies to the farms. Nobody is safe from getting blown away for being a big enough faggot, but I feel like that encourages better discussion rather than stifling it.

Callie is actually 19 in the second game (as she's depicted in the tattoo) so it's not even loli so much as just tasteless. As for the actual relationship I think he played dumb on purpose so that if word got out that she wasn't really almost 18, or even 16 that he'd have proof that she lied about her age and that he totally didn't know. I'm somewhat skeptical of this Celine Affair in general as there's something wonky about it and I'm glazing over trying to read these discord logs and sources elsewhere. But I find two parts from the stuff posted in this thread hilarious:
1. That the OFFICIAL STAFF COMMUNICATION boils down to "we banned this tard, so therefore don't believe it!" sather than something like "we investigated and it was misrepresented, we will monitor it."
a. That the one dude threatened to sue the "leaker" even though both of them have usernames that aren't their real names and until he filed the suit nobody would know who the fuck they are, also that the username was clearly not important enough to him that he didn't have the ResetEra mods alter it already. It's one thing if it's become your BRAND like Fatal1ty or PewDiePie or AirdropShitposts, but these people are fucking nobodies lol.

The ResetEra mods hopping in to cover up anything is standard practice, it doesn't even have to mean there's fire to any kind of smoke. They edit out Boogie tweets and "conspiratorial memes" attacking the Epic Games Store.

Imran Khan (who shares his name with the Pakistani Prime Minister) is one of a ResetEra's best minds, back to when they were all on NeoGAF, under the username ShockingAlberto. He used to play Nintendo insider for a long time even though he had no actual sources and he like ResetEra admin shinobi left GAF as more of a joke than anything. (shinobi was a BioWare shill who couldn't handle the backlash of people making fun of Mass Effect: Andromeda so he "stepped back" from the forum, aka ditched it for Twitter/discords.)

He is Game Informer's "West Coast News Editor" now and has been for close to a year.

marrec's sister is Fiction, who is actually one of the saner people to ever be on ResetEra's staff, not that that's too much praise. Much like how marrec is one of the few who actually would push back against ResetEra's echochamber amping up of rhetoric in threads. (For example, marrec once got banned for transphobia because he said doctors are more qualified than troons to decide on whether or not they should have surgeries.)

Ironically, Fiction is also the person who Opiate (of "pedo or at least ephebophile" GAF mod fame) told to be quiet because as a sexual assault survivor (from what I understand this is a true thing and not a made up internet story) she wasn't qualified to be objective about anything regarding the topic. This led to her requesting her GAF account be wiped since they wouldn't fire Opiate. I think it was later in his tenure that he made his posts about how one must learn to understand the pedophile mind and comfort it or whatever. (Coincidentally, this is also Ms.Galaxy's position on pedophiles who don't work for THQNordic.)

Hey, sorry for not replying. I was offline, timezone things and such. But anyways, the TLDR is that the user is searching over that discord server. It used to be completely open, all you needed to have is know the link, but it has been locked down now as the Youtuber user uploaded those videos.

In the videos, we see the user browsing over the history of peoples mentioning the 'loli', 'underage' and such word- however, the number seems to be different from another ERA discord server because the one he was in was for Gacha-related. It disgusts me that they talk about it so openly, but I'm not surprised about it anymore.
