On one hand, it's a video game. On the other hand, it's not that this game would be insulting, it's more of this may as well not go well for the developers in what they want to aim at with their story being "show the horrors of war" but then again, Call of Duty was pretty much an FPS game known for its action with whatever of its story taking a bit of a backseat when we all seem to know it mostly for multiplayer and the spergs related to it.

I can't imagine video games making the horrors of war something to play with, turning real-world suffering into nothing more than a mockery which you emulate in virtual worlds to amuse yourself. Like fellow humans being slowly burnt alive with flamethrowers, or turned into piles of gore from explosives meant to do nothing more than kill another person, or getting mowed down or disemboweled by weapons fire before they even know what's happening, or even suffering a death from being beaten, slashed, bludgeoned, or punched until their painful demise.
