What would be great is if The Ion Fury devs just keep switching their statements from censoring to uncensoring every week or couple. They've already generated so much talk and controversy that I think for one, they love to troll, and two, they should be trolling and just keep the advertising train going! If I had a controversial game, I would just keep changing stuff back and forth. It's a brilliant plan to be annoying. :sighduck:

They genuinely believe everything is political. Everything. Defy them to explain the political intrigue of fucking tic-tac-toe and how its design is a testament to the anti-Trump "resistance" movement and I guarantee some REEEEtard will legitimately attempt to do so.

They'll shove their politics into anything and everything. It's all they know how to do and since that tends to put everyone else in a foul mood outside their echo chamber, all they have is each other (so it just keeps getting worse).

It's just looks so stupid when they apply it to a game made for like 5 year olds. I think part of it is their constant depression IRL. They can't just see Dr Robotnik as a big bad guy who does evil stuff because he's evil, they see him as Donald Trump or something. When they beat him at the end, they aren't just freeing the cute animals like the game tells you to do, they're beating the evil white supremacist Nazi guy they hate in real life.

I mean, I'm no psychologist but that's what it looks like to me.

3DR probably realized how much they fucked up, they're not trolling
The game was already niche and the first time the mainstream gamers heard about it was journos congratulating the dev for caving in to the most hated "gaming" forum.
