She's such a unhinged cunt that since you can't be imprisoned in the United States for using a racial slur she thinks it's justified for mass racial violence. She's clearly not satisfied that the woman had six broken ribs and a broken knee. This cracker needed to die so that others learned to fear the black man.

Also Blizzard is supporting fascism and genocide but Lucio is so dreamy that she can't say no.

BOTW and Xenoblade are done internally in Nintendo. Gamefreak, a separate company, does Pokémon. Nintendo owns the rights to the franchise but has hired Gamefreak for almost every game. Gamefreak has been technically incompetent since diamond and pearl, but since they always sell a shit ton they keep getting the job. They’ve never done HD development before and it shows.
Nintendo doesn’t own Pokémon any more than Game Freak does.
Specifically, the Pokémon IP is controlled by The Pokémon Company, which is jointly owned between Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures, so Nintendo doesn’t hold anywhere near the amount of influence over Pokémon than it does over the other franchises they’re involved with.

Honestly, I feel that all the shit with the new Pokémon games is probably all on Game Freak, since with Nintendo, we know from stuff like them restarting Metroid Prime 4’s development because it sucked so much, that they’re more than willing to delay a game if necessary.

Doubt

Rey being boring was pretty notable no matter what happened to Luke. She seemed to have no real flaws other than anger (which was never played up for reasons?) and everything came naturally to her, not having that moment of "maybe she CAN'T do everything" served pretty well to kill any potential interesting growth she had.

Showing that she had that internal rage then only teasing what would legitimately have been a fun plot twist having her join Kylo for half a movie til she was inevitably redeemed served to blue ball anyone who expected anything interesting from this tired franchise.

After seeing The Force Awakens, I dismissed all the complaints that Rey was a Mary Sue. It was only the first installment in the new trilogy. There had to be a reason she had these amazing space wizard powers, could fly the Millennium Falcon like operating a Camry, etc. She beat Kylo in that first-ever lightsaber duel only because he had a gaping stomach wound. He even says something like "It's starting," right before she Force Powers her way out of the mindrape chair, as if all her unique abilities are tied to some sleeper agent program.

Two years later TLJ comes out and I'm hoping we get answers. Making the inevitable comparisons to the OT, at least Luke got the twist reveal at the end of Empire and a slap to the face for his impatient bravado. But no, Rey still has all her amazing superpowers with no explanation, and what we're left with is her boring ass being a woke role model to all female-presenting little girls everywhere; this is the first time for the fifth time there has ever been a woman superhero, ever, after all.

The third installment will of course have to answer all of these questions, but by now it's almost too late. There is no life in her, just an empty husk with a lightsaber. They had a chance to develop her into something significant, and they blew it.
