Completely. I've seen this pointed out numerous times, how they claim they're fighting bigotry against disabled people, but aren't advocating for anything like options that help the colour-blind, or ways to map controls to help people with hand difficulties.

No, like with the games journalists, it's purely whining about a game being too hard and wanting an easy mode so they don't get challenged at all. SJWs are excellent are coming up with problems where the only solution is 'do what I want you to do'. Always dressed up as helping some poor oppressed minority, always rejecting attempts to fix the problem they're highlighting that would actually solve it but doesn't follow their orders.

It's particularly noticeable when they do things like never mention what specific disabilities they're trying to advocate for. Probably because whatever they say, there will be a video of someone with that specific disability or worse playing the game just fine. But again, standard SJW behaviour - they want specific solutions that benefit them for broad problems that you have to accept at face value.

I really hope people stand up more to the argument of, 'I call oppression so you have to do as I say!' It's bad enough when over-applied by people within the minority involved, but completely insufferable when done by 'allies', or the generically oppressed who claim to speak for all (*cough*troons*cough*).

Color blind mention makes me think of how the Giant Bomb guys (Jeff most definitely, and I think Vinny? Ryan might have been too? it seemed like all of them at one point lol) are red-green color blind and they'll mention during videos when they can't tell things apart on screen but they never really rage about it. Even after trying those glasses for a while to help him see red, Jeff couldn't tell something apart (it was like a secondary waypoint from the main one) in a game recently and Brad just automatically told him which was which when it came up the next time. That was it. They never mentioned it again when talking about the game even on the podcast, etc.

ResetEra dudes will rage about even less relevant things for pages on end. Like astro who can't ever not have the last word once he gets started.

It's telling that they're using the term "accessibility" when discussing this. That term is usually used in the game industry to mean "making games more playable for disabled people", but they're really not talking about that. They're talking about making the game easier, which, if you think about it, means that they're trying to equate "bad at video games" with an actual physical disability.

I don't get why ResetERA's stagnating. I mean, banning some of the bigger online personalities from being discussed just because they did some off-color thing in the past can't possibly be a reason, those bigots had it coming! Why can't everyone appreciate the morally pure and all-loving site for being on the right side of history, WHY?!

Considering games journalists, with GamerGate and getting people suspended on Twitter for 'learn to code', are acting like an oppressed minority, and considering how much it's troons and troon handmaidens pushing for these nebulous claims, I think they definitely believe oppression = disability.

When it's games journalists and troons involved, being bad at video games certainly correlates with, if not a causal link to, mental disabilities.

Era seems to want games to be taken seriously as an art form while also demanding that developers restrict their artistic vision to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Great idea! While we’re at it, let’s demand that Cormac McCarthy releases an edit for his next novel with all the difficult words taken out. That way, even morons like these can read the book they bought. That is what they’re owed, after all.
