"WE ARE A VIDEO GAME FORUM"

:story:

Embarrassing.
Love the red text and the capitalized letters, really sells just how much Rogan chaps their asses.

Keep in mind adam387 was banned for racism for a month

Why do they allow someone they have already recognized as a racist to continue to post?

Yet another way that RetardEra is a white supremacist forum. This RACIST is allowed to post there, and that's after even they personally recognized him as a racist.

This post sums up Resetera.

Rich white YAS QUEEN gay man with kids crying on a "video game" forum instead of going horse riding with his kids he can't because of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile the unhinged jannies are banning poor commie Bernie stans every day for simply speaking.

Keep in mind adam387 was banned for racism for a month and PoliEra threw a bitchfit on Discord and got him unbanned early. That white gay privilege. Royalan was instead lynched.
If these kids even exist they're fucking relieved they finally have a few days to sit at home and just watch TV (or, gasp, play video games) instead of being dragged around to a fuckton of extracurricular activities and family outings.

I'm just amazed there's anyone on RetardEra who even has a family that hasn't disowned them.

"People are dying, city's being lockdown, travel bans, stock market's crashing and a bunch of other shit that will impact the world negatively is okay because fuck the right".

Embarrassing.
It's ResetEra, where you can talk about everything except video gamaes.

Well would they even catch the coronavirus though? This would imply that they even have lives outside of their homes anyway.

It's two rich gay dudes who adopted older kids.

adam387 would regularly post all kinds of powerlevel shit about his life on GAF, especially while drunk, then Hillary lost and he asked for his account to be deleted before turning back up on ERA and going right back to it, plus extra racism apparently

I knew it was improbable anyone remotely normal would be on Isamu Fukui's nuthouse.

lol just searching his username found some faggot daily kos posts that are definitely his: https://www.dailykos.com/blog/adam387
While I’ve been a lurker on Daily Kos for years, I’ve always been too afraid to jump into the pool and post a blog. But, I’m so excited by this election, I wanted to take the time to make my introduction.

I’m a 20 something gay man who is working his butt off to make sure that Hillary Clinton is our nominee. I was a supporter of hers in 2008, knocking on doors, making phone calls and pretty much annoying anyone and everyone I could find. I did this because of my dad.

I was a late in life baby, born when my dad was already in his 60s. A child of the depression, and a life long Democrat, he forced me to go with him to campaign events, to knock on doors, to stand with the unions and to watch him like a hawk in the ballot booth. To him, FDR could walk on water, and he’d happily tell you stories about how the New Deal saved his family from starvation.

He taught me things. The value of exercising your right to vote. Of fighting for the people who need your help. Of standing up to racism, sexism and homophobia every time it rears its ugly head. He told me to never, ever refuse to get back up when something or someone puts you down. Fight for what you believe in and what can make the party and the country better.

In 2008, he, like a lot of us, was torn. While he liked then Senator Obama, and he digested every bit of news he could going up to the primaries, he also adored Senator Clinton. He would tell me, over and over, how he’d never seen someone so intelligent, so qualified and so ready to lead the country. He wanted to vote for her more than anything else.

Unfortunately, he didn’t get that opportunity. He passed away days before the primary. So, this year, in memory of him, I worked my butt off to deliver Ohio to Hillary. Every phone call, every person I helped get to the poll, every time I opened my mouth to explain why I support Sec. Clinton was done in memory of him. To show him that, yes, the next generation of Democrats is willing and able to do the grunt work necessary to elect, not just a President, but Congress people, Senators, Representatives and Governors.

Hillary reminds me of my dad. Hard working people, who have been knocked down and knocked around. But they always, always get back up, get to the business of working to make the Party and the country better. They’re not perfect, none of us are, but their pragmatism and practicality is inspiring to me.
I cried like a girl.

I cried like a girl who, for the first time in more than two hundred years, woke up to a country that did more than just say that a woman has the right, the ability and the experience to run for the highest office in our land. I cried because it’s no longer just words and empty platitudes. It’s reality. She is there. She can run like a girl, fight like a girl and, I have no doubt, win like a girl.

I cried like my father, a lifelong Democrat, who worked his entire life to see the barriers that divide us be torn down and discarded. He wanted nothing more than to vote for Hillary, but he passed away two days before our state’s primary in 2008. He voted for every Democrat from FDR to John Kerry. (She won the first battle, Dad!)

I cried like my mother, a woman not far apart in age from Hillary, who witnessed something she never thought she’d see. I cried when I saw the fear and uncertainty in her eyes, that someone was going to try to deny this woman the thing she had worked, sweat and struggled for. That she would be denied the thing that she was not given, but the thing that she earned. I cried because that fear didn’t just appear. It was a fear she had lived, and she couldn’t bear to see it happen to another woman.

Then, I cried like myself.

I cried for eight years worth of work, of knocking on doors and calling strangers and begging them to vote. I cried for everyone of us who has gotten knocked down but refuses to stay knocked out. I cried for the fighters, the activists, for the people who do the unsexy work of shattering glass ceilings and ripping up sticky floors. I cried for the people who came before me, the gay rights pioneers who refused to accept that there was something “wrong” with us. That were were not deserving of the same rights as a straight person. I cried for the work we’ve done, and the work we have yet to achieve.

But then something happened.

I laughed.

I laughed that Donald Trump has all of us to answer to. His reckoning will come at the hands of the thing that he and his small handed and small minded ilk fear most: a multicolored, multigendered, multisexuality, and multicultural quiltbag of people.

He will answer to men who refuse to live in a country in which their daughters are not afforded the same rights as their sons. He will answer to women who refuse to allow hatred to divide us, when there is so much more that unites us. He will answer to Christians who say in a loud voice that he does not get to determine what religions are acceptable in this country. He will answer to straight allies, who happily march, with LGBT people to fight for the right of a transgender woman to use whatever bathroom she wants. He will answer to African and Asian Americans who stand side-by-side with our proud Latino/a Americans when we say “Basta!” to your bigotry. I laughed when I realized his wall was going to be turned into a ladder to better jobs, a secure retirement, and more affordable healthcare. I laughed when I realized each of us has the opportunity and obligation to deny this bigot another minute in the spotlight. And make no mistake, he will be denied. Because we will win. We have to.

And then I cried like a girl again.

And here i thought most communists were the REEEtards.Or atleast exceptional.

Oh, I'm sure meeting up for EraCon will be great at first, assuming there isn't a period of violent anarchy following the overthrow of the U.S. government. They will be dancing and airing out their surgery wounds in the streets.

Then comes the slow burn of having to work for the glory of the People and the State. Then the State grows more paranoid. The few in charge get more corrupt and take larger amounts of the wealth distribution. Everyone on REE who rallied for this kind of thing will be at a prison labor camp. Finally, it will be hard to stay 'body positive' with the chocolate ration raised to 20 grams.

It's the kind of shit they made fun of gays for in the 90's. Even Will and Grace made fun of these kinds of faggots back then.

I feel old.

adam387 is my new favorite poster. Totally unhinged Hillary faggot and as he is white he even managed to get a Slayven one month racism ban reduced to 1 week - http://resetera.kiwifarms.net/search/actioned?u=adam387

Only gay black men like Royalan get mistreated on Resetera. If you are white and gay, show that white power faggot.

Yes, you banned everyone sensible because of the lunatics you let run the asylum and then as usual lock the topic because you're worried the inmates will push too far and have to get 2 day bans for aggression/death threats/unhinged insanity.

All these posters deserve the misery and suffering they cause themselves by being total pieces of shit

:story:

Being a Resetera poster, not even once.

Allowing Slayven to be a moderator and Nepenthe an admin? You'd be better off flushing your forum away and accepting your name, Isamu Fukui, will be forever tainted and your reputation ruined.

Black cop shares a lunch with homeless and vulnerable woman, Resetera? Kill that racist pig and let the woman die 👏

The crunch topic has gotten spicy.

Jonathan Cooper seems to have possibly twisted the facts to suit his twitter narrative. Specifically, the hospitalization thing.

I kinda sorta have been following the twitter drama for the past couple of hours and it’s pretty wild.

It’s since been deleted (but I believe it’s the tweet Alexandria originally replied to in this screenshot iirc), but Cooper apparently RT’d a current ND employee’s tweet about being hospitalized after passing out at work, adding a blurb about crunch culture as a way to further the (admittedly much needed) conversation about unhealthy and damaging work practices. But it turns out the ND employee he RT’d fainted for entirely different, women’s health related reasons. Alexandria called him out on it, which is probably what prompted the deletion.

He also, reasonably, spoke to incensed gamers about not having to feel oblige to boycott games as their success, after all, pay for employee bonuses (I’ve always wondered about this!). Just not contractors, he added, along with a photo of a cardboard box full of ND and gaming memorabilia that people are supposed to assume is taken on a contractor’s last day at ND. He got called out on it by a current ND dev, who claimed that the photo is taken from a former colleague’s private Facebook post in which the individual expressed how much they loved their time at ND. Said ND dev was subsequently told to simmer down by Cooper as he apparently had permission to use the photo.

Now this shouldn’t diminish what Jason’s article and Cooper’s earlier tweets brought to light: which is the unhealthy and damaging work practices employed by ND management that has led to the loss of senior staff and even a reported hospitalization. I commend Jason and Cooper for breaking the dam, so to speak, and airing the dirty laundry, because god knows crunch culture shouldn’t ever be the norm in ANY industry. Putting the spotlight on ND should hopefully get the issue some traction seeing as they’re one of the most prestigious first party studios out there. We can only hope that they’ll eventually feel the pressure to change their work practices. The exposé is an eye-opening insight into their work structure and has certainly changed my perception of ND as a management.

At the same time, I wish Cooper would’ve just let his earlier tweets do the talking. He shouldn’t have posted/RT’d out of context images from former colleagues that were CLEARLY meant to be deliberately misconstrued by those following his twitter thread just to further prove a point about ND’s work culture. It reflects poorly on him.

And in light of Alexandria’s response to Cooper’s campaign, now we know why Druckmann sent out those morale boosting tweets! While it doesn’t excuse his silence on his studio’s mismanagement, it does give his tweets some context in light of the blowout. Many in the team - who we’ve come to learn must be made up of predominantly junior devs - must have felt slighted by Cooper’s tweets, and, well, Druckmann had to say something.

This sort of thing baffles the people who can't respond to any opposing viewpoint without using the clown emoji.

Additionally, Cory Barlog, someone who very much tried appealing to ree originally, is liking one to many of the wrong tweets.
