In a way it's a logical escalation of the sites problems, since they're fanatics they've hit an impasse with no way around, you can't moderate or reflect or even outright walk away from the topic-they're wrong you're right. Simply existing in each others space is an act of severe provocation to them.
Once Biden loses it'll get more viscious as the Biden fans blame the others for the failure and the Bernie bro's are 'validated' in a repeat performance of 2016.

That's exactly what i speculated in the mexican beer fever's early days, it might be a miscount on their part that's been corrected (Crunk said the bot just logs the number on the site's frontpage). But even so with the virus and the elections (it's a DNC political forum first, and gaming second after all) it's positively raining potential paypigs, and they don't manage to get wet.

So here's some vintage GAF/ERA for ya that I only remembered because of the TLOU2 Thread.
Way back in 2016, an indie developer put out a simple, silly little game with a commentary on the media's reaction to tragedy called #BlockLivesMatter. It's a fairly straightforward little game in which the cube you control proceeds to go on akilling derezzing spree, and you either use a black cube (which can start off only melee attacking, but which can just roll over other cubes to defeat them and which will have to fight hostile blue cubes) or a blue cube, in which case you can launch rockets (but your enemies are black cubes). The game was programmed in Unity and was pretty good for something so stupid and simple, with a fake newscast going on the entire time (and said newscast blaming violent video games for the carnage when you finally Game Over). The game got to Greenlight, and was comparatively well-received.
Unfortunately, this was a case when the satire was a bit too on the nose, because NeoGAF (back when it and ERA were one) fucking lost its shit over this. While the old guard Gaffots thought it was hilarious, the contingent of NeoGAF that we are more familiar with wouldn't stop screeching about how offensive the game was, ultimately leading to the mods closing the thread as things descended into complete pandemonium. One would think the story would end there, but it didn't, of course - since once the tards of old NeoGAF lock on, they never let go, and that's especially true when the game in question is effectively making fun of the sacred cows of the dipshits we all know and mock.
While the game got a rather surreal hitpiece from Slate, claiming it was the most offensive game of 2016 - in fucking January - this is a case when the bigger story is the one you haven't heard: namely, how the game just disappeared from the internet entirely. If you go to the website of the developer, they claim that an unspecified departure of a team member made working on the game further impossible, but give no further information. The thing is, that doesn't quite explain why the developer shuttered their Greenlight page, pulled down their own download page, removed all Alpha builds of the game from circulation, and have not done a single fucking thing since their departure literally 6 days after the Alpha Build went up. Even their Twitter went dead silent. Fuck, even the Box News Live Twitter, which was intended to integrate with the game, stopped updating at the exact same time.
See, while the game got a massive groundswell of support on Steam and from the general public, in private, the tards of NeoGAF were incensed with the existence of this little block-shooter. And, given NeoGAF's time-honored tendency to dox, threaten, and harass basically any developer who so much as looks at them funny, the implications of this are quite clear - realizing that the hive had been stirred up, Abandon Ship games basically DFE'd before anyone involved at NeoGAF (or anyone like them) had the chance to go full Autist and attempt to destroy their lives and careers. You would know this was not an irrational concern if you've been reading this thread.
We may never know the full details without more people coming forward, and frankly none of us could really ask the devs to.
However, that the game exists and annoys NeoGAF is reason enough for me to rehost the Alpha build if you want it.

There’s a difference between doxing somebody and personally fucking with them. ResetERA loves to do the latter, and they do the former as a means to that end.
SSRIs are an antidepressant. This tells a story.
Depression and trannydom go hand in greasy ogre hand, to the point that it can be difficult to determine whether trooning out led to the depression or the depression led to trooning out. Troons wind up extremely fucked in the head due to internal hormone wars, inadequate self-image, a notoriously toxic and destructive transgender community, a constant nagging suspicion that it’s never going to work despite all those before-and-after photos that definitely weren’t doctored or outright faked, and all kinds of other shit. Depression resulting from this is more a rule than it is an exception. Pre-existing depression is also a monster all of its own and depressed people will flail desperately for literally anything they think might alleviate the symptoms. This can include quitting/changing jobs, changing homes, throwing away all their friends, turning against their families, spending money like water, drinking like a fish, playing around with and getting addicted to substances, and going all in on an enormous system of lies encompassing your entire identity. This guy appears to be depressed enough that he’s trying to get on SSI so he can get paid to be sad, and I’m not sure whether he was a troon before or after the depression ate his brain.

They can't take the rational option that there's no more reason to believe this accusation than there was to believe the accusation against Brett Kavanaugh, because they had to go all-in and pretend that was completely credible and the only reason anyone would disbelieve it is because they're rapists themselves. They have to believe whammens, so Biden is an actual, literal rapist. But you have to vote for the rapist or else!
Pure madness.
Also, they could just cope with the fact that there are some people who honestly believe he's a rapist now and won't vote for someone they believe to be a rapist. Some people have principles. Of course, if they had even that minimal level of sanity, they would be able to cope with the fact people voted for fucking Trump, too.

See, that deflation is only temporary. Because this is just another in a very long line of stories that people like this get all worked up about, presume the innocence, guilt, race and/or sex of the people involved and then go all-in on the outrage ... and then they forget about the story when it turns out it doesn't fit with their hate-filled view of the world.
But the bit they do remember, the bit that means they never think to start thinking about how there's all these stories of hate crimes that have turned out not to be hate crimes and that maybe they should hold off on making these sorts of assumptions? They remember that sweet, dopamine-inducing outrage. They remember feeling angry and superior and right - always right - because the people they hate did something hateful again. The fact that, no, they didn't - that gets forgotten. They just remember the joy of their outrage, and how it must have been justified so the story must be true.
Those little outrage boners never go down for long. Because these people are zealots who are very quick to forget that they could have ever been mistaken.
