Their legitimate lunacy has attracted a population of trolls who stir up shit and get legitimate posters banned with fake complaints, because their criteria for a ban are so hilariously unhinged and no actual serious poster could manage to follow their nonexistent rules, which are really just ban anything that causes a janny to melt down or gets enough troons mad at it (and troons are insane and will attack friend and foe alike for literally nothing).

I love seeing the same back and forth more than ever where posters talk about "oh woe is us we can't question the mods or we get kicked in the nuts" and the mod or admin says "sure you can! People do it all the time!". Because now when I see it, I just think back to Hecht telling a poster to fuck off to somewhere else and when the poster brought up the same topic, mods/admins getting away with commentary normal posters get banned for, he just goes "Damn fucking right we do".

These are the same people that, as has been said hundreds of times already, tout Kiwi Farms as evil cyberterrorists and yet at least here we can not only disagree with each other, we can call each other faggots, staff included(both giving and receiving), and all's well. Because they're just words on the goddamn internet.

I never thought I'd ever witness an actual human being talk about "not leaving behind the schoolyards anymore" as if it were some brand-new phenomenon. Large chunks of every generation have been chronically incapable of moving beyond high-school-tier social maneuvering, to the point that "they act like they're still in high school" is a common exasperated response all across the internet when people witness other people doing stupid shit in nominally "adult" settings. So reading the poverty thread. This one really pisses me off personally because some of the people posting in that thread don't know what poverty is.

If you want to know what poverty is, poor is when you live in the slums of city with helicopters over you every night and gangsters shooting each other for stupid reasons and the police then has to pick up the dead bodies after a gun battle and poor is when the only forms of entertainment that you got is a checkers board set and eating instant ramen noodles and frozen microwavable meals for dinner.

Now unless you live in a third-world country where you are given little options, live in a bad neighborhood (such as Compton) or live in a bad city such as Detroit), well there really is no excuse for a lot of people living in the first world to even be poor a lot of times that I notice that most "poor" people in the United States waste their money on stuff that they don't really need.

If you want a bit of insight into my life, I never had video games as a kid, I also never had cable television back then, the Internet was almost unavailable to me, the only things I did watched on telelvsion that were at least free was PBS and any Looney Tunes reruns on free-to-air television, and ride in one of those beat up cars that you see many low income immigrant workers drive. I'm really glad that my situation got better as I grew up and I'm grateful for the things that I now have. But the arrogance that these people thinking that they're "poor" because they couldn't get a video game that they wanted back then actually pisses me off.

If you want poor then I'll show you it and you'll be grateful for the things that you take for granted. Sorry if I'm getting a bit personal for lolcows here but it's one of those things that really pisses me off because seeing these idiots thinking they can't get a video game is "poor" reminds me a lot of the idiots that waste money on 'Supreme' clothing thinking this is what rich people wear (people with money don't wear that stuff by the way).

I guy I used to know sold his software startup for a pretty serious amount of money. He had always wanted a Rolex, so he went to a showroom. He wore a white t-shirt and ripped jeans, because he was so loaded he didn't give a fuck what anyone thought about him. When he walked in the showroom, every sales assistant flocked to him, ignoring the "customers" in their sharp suits and flash jewellery who were just browsing to impress their girlfriends. Those guys knew that genuinely rich people don't care about looking rich, and someone who walks into a Rolex dealership dressed like that is someone who is about to spend $15,000 on a watch.

A lot of poor people have very little idea about what most rich people are genuinely like, and it's why they tend to spend money on stupid shit. When you're poor, looking slightly wealthier than the other poors is a big deal, and that's why they spend money on fancy trainers or needlessly expensive cars rather than invest and get real wealth. When you live paycheck to paycheck, it's tempting to spend any money left over on dumb stuff rather than invest it because you might not have enough money in your account for months to buy a Playstation or whatever and nobody in your family is any better with money than you are so you don't learn otherwise.

UnclePhil's unwanted hot take: Easy Mode is for pussies. I mean, when you're playing a "game" it stands to reason there should be some challenge in front of you; otherwise you're playing "against" nothing. It makes sense to get barred from unlockables, even entire sections.

If you're picking easy mode "just for the story" you should read a book or put a movie on. Playing a story-driven game is about earning what happens in the story as a reward.

This thread is that far-left thing of whining when not everybody gets to be a winner. There are people who beat NES games blind or with their feet. Effort must be for the "alt-right."

Or if you play on easy mode, just fucking do it and stop going online to seek reassurance or praise that you are better than someone who is disabled. No cuck, chances are the cripples are better than you, deal with it.

I don't have an issue saying play a game however you want, but I will mock you if you create crybaby topics or posts online about how easy mode wasn't easy enough for you or how every game should have a journalist mode by default.

The hard left/REE brigade covets success. Whereas the normal thing to do with someone who has achieved more is to look at them as a role model or emulate them by going the distance, a Reezian will go the commie route of blaming it on some system of oppression and crying that they're too crippled by "privilege" to get up and try. It's easier to tear someone down/cancel them than it is to move around a little bit.

You see it in the troons who mock every instance of cleavage or uncovered ass. Even they could climb a ladder by trying to pass more or something, but fuck that, the video game lady is pretty. Hound the developer until they throw a hijab over her. Same with easy mode.
