Banshee mcnegro is a well-known past agitator, it was speculated it's the troon that SweetNicole dates that used to be a mod on Resetera before getting torched for aggression. There's a few other ex-GAF troons being considered as well. Some who went into witness protection, others who deleted their Resetera accounts from 2017-2019.

While there is farms, GAF and 4chan accounts in high places on Resetera leading the way destroying the community from the inside, Banshee appears to be "legit". The staff know who Banshee is, hence topics getting stickied and preferential treatment with only a few hundred posts.

When RustyNails permanent ban for supporting ISIS is overturned after 6 months so he can come back, it's clear Resetera is that desperate for users they are allowing just about anyone who was perm'd before to come back now.

I am actually completely, 100% fine with a game including an "Easy Mode" that simplifies game mechanics and allows the player to complete most or all of the game (maybe withholding the best endings or best weapons, etc.) on the condition that it be called "Games Journalist Mode." It should make periodic references to the fact that it's in GJM and maybe even pop up a little notice on screen whenever it "assists" the player. And it needs to include jokes at the player's expense somehow.

I want them to have to pick it knowing the game is mocking them for it before they can get their baby pass.

The mod response and Finale Firework's response to the "easy mode is a human right" shit are actually discussing, to one extent or another. They're some of the most reasonable dissenting replies I've ever seen on Era, if you temporarily disregard the mod's predictable appeal to "I'm disabled too so you can't use your disabled card to write off my opinion". But like every other contemptible cunt I've talked to about muh accessibility, the people who are pushing easy = accessible aren't there to discuss, they're there to preach, and just like preachers they will tolerate no dissent. The sequence of opinion>>disagreement>>anger reveals that instantly. They are already right. There is nothing to discuss. The other guy must be taken down for daring to be wrong.

The best worst part of this is that the forum essentially only exists to give these people a place to rant without being disagreed with. It sure as hell doesn't exist to facilitate civil dialogue. If it did, the freaks wouldn't be practically screaming at a mod who, for once, actually did a fairly good job of being a mod.

Where do they get this notion that games have to developed with the intention of getting people who have had no interest in playing them playing them? This is what destroys franchises and drives away the people who were actually spending money, or had a real interest. There are plenty of books/movies that exist with a premise that wouldn't be for me, but I never had any thought of "They should change this this and this to make this more approachable to me" since thats fucking insane and people tend to make something with a specific goal in mind. I guess I should start whining about how 4X is too complicated so I should be able to play it like an FPS or action game.

That's actually the point. They don't want "accessibility" options (i.e. fucking the game up) so they can play them, they want the games ruined for anyone who actually does enjoy them. Then they can swarm the next franchise in their joyless crusade to destroy all fun everywhere.

Most games have an easy mode, what these people want is what they always want, to control what normal people do. So every game has to ONLY have an easy mode.

Or the handful of titles on the market that do not have journalist mode, need the developers to be dragged from their homes and lynched.

the fucked up part to me is that they never point out real, effective examples of what they want, cause they exist without defaulting to the "here's godmode and if that's not good enough here's a skip game button"

Pathologic 2 released with many people (even some who wanted the struggle) being unable to bear through the game at all, and addressed this with a patch that allows you to tweak every single aspect of the game's difficulty while strongly encouraging you to stay on the intended difficulty. however even if you turn it off, you're given wonderful flavor text that also explains the actual impact every parameter has on the intended narrative and game design (running too fast makes time not matter, never needing to sleep makes you miss plot important dreams etc.) and never allows you to completely negate them, causing the game to still retain its identity to someone less-abled that would be taken away by just giving you godmode or something.

on the actual proper "i have like 2 fingers and i genuinely cannot interface with this game" side (not even counting controllers for disabled people), Nier Automata like several platinum games titles has tons of accessibility features that can only be activated if you pick easy mode, and unlike something like Bayonetta there's not really any downside to using them. these are so effective you can straight up not play the game beyond moving the camera and player, but you still get to pick and choose which actions you can handle doing yourself and which ones you want done for you. (plus you still have to like, not actively walk off a cliff and shit)

approaches like these are actually more accessible, cause if you have no arms and it takes you longer to do x or y on your weird foot controller, you can adjust those aspects while still getting to play a game. i'm not sure why every millionth copy of this same topic has to be about letting me turn games into youtube playthroughs, cause why would any disabled people buy games at that point when you can just watch the same experience for free.

The common answer for all of them - the troons, the fags, the cripples, niggos, spics and ching-chongs - they all want whitey's attention and his approval.

It doesn't matter if they forswear God or mommy and daddy or the cool kids table - these are entirely subjugated humans, incapable of living without the pat of massa's hand. RetardEra doesn't give a fuck about actually disabled people. When they claim to be "disabled" they just mean they suck at games, are triggered by seeing spiders or some shit nobody else cares about, or it requires doing anything at all to win. Quadriplegics manage to play at champion levels. SJWs are not "disabled" just because they're giant pussies who need to kill themselves.
