Now, I know that most of ERA are privileged WFHers who spend half their free time on the site bitching about social justice, and the other half complaining that they might have to start going back to the office again, but now I really think some of them haven't left the comfort of their homes a lot longer than I'd previously thought if this is what some of them honestly think the relations between the black and asian community are like.

The latest white hate thread by excelsiortroon (thanks for the reference pics btw, really helped put their crazy in perspective) has at least provided some great backfire responses.

I hadn't been keeping up with the ManaByte happenings. I've seen him posting on SW forums for many years before he became a GAF regular, but I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw he was trying to run those Cosmic-branded news sites while posting a lot of right-wing stuff under his username on GAF. I knew he was going to get cancelled once people started to notice.

This is the only thing I’ll defend Reee on. Try reading any gamefaqs thread about a remotely popular game, and it will almost always devolve into completely unrelated shit throwing within 10 or so posts because people bring up some parallel game on another platform.

I'd love to see them go for a subscription model only to realize they make a pittance and immediately return to a free model. Nobody is going to pay to read that stuff when they could look it up on YouTube and watch someone talk about it for free, and likely cover it better than a "professional" journalist would anyway.

This is especially true when it comes to games. Polygon and Kotaku are already infamous as shoddy sites with people who pretend to like games, I can't imagine somebody would willingly choose to pay to read their slapdash articles rather than listen to somebody even as mundane as YongYea say the same thing for free.

A lot of people call Gaf, SonyGAF because of how 'protected' Sony is on GAF. The past few weeks though, i have seen more people get slapped for anti-xbox posts, than i have for blatant trolling against Sony. VFXveteran is the dumbest cunt of them all on that forum, how he hasn't caught a perm for his trolling, is beyond me.
