There are a dozen threads on games you should avoid.

What are new releases you can recommend?

(Let’s do PS4 era onward as the definition for new.)

Example:

Name: Blade Chimera
Platforms: Steam and Switch
Reviews: Steam 86%

Japanese Metroidvania with great combat and sprite art. Made by Team Ladybug.

The combat is a very satisfying evolution on the Igvania style formula with a focus on melee and gun combat.

Rogue Flight
Platforms: Steam, Switch, PS, and Xbox
Reviews: Steam 97%

Star Fox /Cassette Futurism inspired roguelite rail shooter with constant progression and multiple story paths.

Focus on memorizing enemy patterns and behaviors so that you can dodge them.

I heard the new Musou Warriors Abyss was good, but I haven’t tried it.

Please post any games you’ve been impressed by recently.

Despite vocal soys liking them, most of Nintendo's repetoire on the Switch are still some of the most fun they have ever released, and don't let the faggots ruin it for you. While not perfect, its like comparing Citizen Kane to The Star Wars Prequels, while Ocarina of Time is objectively superior, BOTW and TOTK are still pretty fun in their own ways.

Was kind of gay of me not to include a game recommendation in my other post so I'll rectify that now. I finally played through Rogue Trader after the new DLC dropped this December and it's been one of my better gaming experiences as of late. Owlcat did a better job of writing for a W40k title than I expected since their writing was more on the homoerotic side in their PF releases, but I guess they know how to reel in the faggotry when the setting calls for less of it.

It's so disgusting that Keski games get such dogshit lolcalization it started to appeal to these retards and now directly pandering too them. Was a fan for of the series for so long
am I getting these confused with a separate series or aren't these a spin off of those early rpg Dragon Slayer games? It's a shame they ended up that way because I've vaguely wanted to get into them because as a huge series that started as a spin off they always seemed interesting, but I definitely would have to tap out before we got to THIS point.

Anything Zelda Mario Donkey Kong Metroid and Kirby related on the Switch is super fun. You can just get any of those games and lose at least a few hours. I was playing the Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remaster on Switch and it was pretty good.

I will admit to being a Smash addict who has gotten Joker to elite and has beaten World of Light 2-3 times.

I have liked the Smash Bros games since the first one on the N64. I have Smash Bros on Switch and even the 3DS. Mario Kart as well. I also like Luigi's Mansion.

Luigi's Mansion 3 was fun and Dark Moon/2 was underrated, I just hope four fuses 3 and 2's concepts together with multiple open-air mega mansions to explore.

They start with like the second to last Dragon Slayer game then have like different multi game arcs and main characters for them.

Basically the Libra arc (trails in the sky 1 to 3) got relocalized by Xseed while Tom was still working there so there was a bit of quality and became a sorta sleeper hit upon its rerelease on steam in the west then the first couple in the Erebonia arc (Cold Steel) also got lolcalized by Xseed also being the first games in the series to go with a more 3D approach with less Ps2 chibi models. After the first 2 Cold Steels got lolcalized Falcom and Xseed stopped working together and NISA took over localization and if you know anything about NISA you know how bad they are with inserting popculture, totally changing and cutting text and character personalities and flatout censoring, also around this time those super super super really big huge die hard totally real life long fans jumped onto the series and started shitting up any western discussion of it leaving it a shell of what it once was and could have been.

Basically Falcom got a taste of this and decided to go all in on NISA's bullshit working very closely with them now.
