He didn't even have his own chapter in the book or anything? No wonder he's so salty 14 years later.
Funny how he didn't get a thing in his yearbook but we could easily fill a novel, a doctoral thesis and several scientific essays with him now.

This has always boggled my mind. There is more information available on Chris than just about any celebrity or U.S. President I can think of. The fact that we can reasonably pinpoint what he was doing at any point of his life, even the wilderness years, pre-internet. It's frightening.

It's awesome.

I wonder what future generations will make of Chris and of us.

200 years from now there will be films about the "mythical" figure called the Chris-Chan and the trolls that plagued him.

Kinda fuckin' creepy, actually.

You also have to remember that Chris passed out his personal information to strangers online like cheap candy. Most of what is known of him was because he was the one that put it out there.

Really? At my school, it was 90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, and so on.
Same here. I'm in college now and the grading scale is the same as well.

So at my school a 72 would have been a C. Not "honor roll" by any means but not absolutely horrible either.

A lot of the bad grades he got appear to be on assignments that merely required being completed in order to make a decent grade. So that tells us that Chris just did half of his work and then said "Mm, yeah, this is good enough" then went back to drawing.

I've always seen CWC as an example of the most unethical case study in observation of someone with social anxiety disorders and autism. There is not a shot in hell a study like this would ever be approved by any legislature so CWC kind of became this surrogate crowdsourced Truman Show of sorts. Most people are remembered by a couple of things and their legacies are forgotten about, Chris has far more exposure, documentation, and subjective analyses than anyone else in history I'd argue. He is a case study that could only have resulted from the Internet itself.

So, in effect, this in some ways could be interpeted as saying Chris is literally the most (in)famous person on the internet.

Holy shit.

Holy shit.

I would argue so. Is there an archive of all of Mark Zuckerberg's family photos out there? How many of PewDiePie's grade school failures have been posted for the world to see? Has Perez Hilton made available all of the terrible cover songs he's probably sung and recorded?

Chris is the only Internet personality I can think of whom we both know as the person he wants us to see, and the person that he is and has been.

So over the past year, pretty much everything we've speculated about Chris in high school now has some decent proof.

We speculated his gal pals only hung out with him because he was special and/or pitied him. In October we got the e-mail proving it.
Now, we find out Chris wasn't the HONOR ROLL (TM) student he claimed and was probably just another C student.
Now we wait for:
Megan only hung out with him out of Pity
Synder let him volunteer at the pLace out of pity.
Panda wasn't really raped/impregenated.

Then how did he get the sash/collar thing?

Of course, from the same page on the CWCki, Bob seems to have said Chris did not make honor roll, and I'm FAR more willing to believe Bob (the most sane member of 14BC), so maybe the school just gave Chris the Honor Roll collar thing just so he could feel special (then in typical Chris fashion he believes he deserved so much more) since these papers now suggest he was pushed through classes by sheer leniency simply to get him out ASAP.
When I was in high school, all the.... special... kids got a fancy stash for finally graduating. There were some unhappy parents that got mad cuz their "normal" kid got a sash for being 4.0GPA students that looked exactly like the sash the special ed kids got. The special ed kids also got some fancy certificates that the normal kids didn't get, like "HonorRoll Privileged" (whatever that means) and then some got "Pass/Fail Classes" certificates which means that they weren't on a normal A-F grading scale, it was literally Pass or Fail with them.
LONG STORY SHORT, Chris either got a fancy sash to make him feel special OR he actually made honor roll for less than average intelligence classes. Either way, he shouldn't be bragging nearly as much as he did.
