The last time they crossed my radar people in the thread were trying to get them to allow a re-fetch of broken videos and the guy said there was no possible way and he wasn't even going to try to address it, which I found annoying

I used to see it all the time before like 80% of the videos were like that for me. After your fix, about 95% now load and play without me needing to open them in a new tab.

One issue that i am noticing is when you click a quoted video from another article, you can click play and watch it, but if you try to pause it it would take you to the article instead. is there a way to fix that issue?

You can download videos on Android, I've tested it myself. The problem is the clickzone on a phone screen for the download button is extremely small, just tap around for a bit and you'll find it. It's more on the right or lower right side of the download button. Tapping directly in the center of the download button doesn't work.
