I think all these suggestions are going to fall apart the moment Josh realizes implementing/enforcing them would involve more than a day of work.

Open registration has been a thing since the site's inception. Null just closes it when he anticipates that the site's going to be raided, like after a mass shooting.

Just my thought on the fresh meat title: it could encourage people who would normally only lurk to shit up a thread with pointless posts. Hiding it so only mods can see it should fix that, but as someone who mostly lurks that was the first thing to come to my mind. I'd make sure to set that up before the newfag storm comes.

Seems like the kind of user we'd want to ban, then. They don't contribute, and care so much about simple titles that they'd try to kill entire threads. Only few steps away from being a KF-hating tranny
