Shut it, newfag. The age of an account has very little to do with the account holder's value as a poster. Newfags can be great contributors from the get-go, or smug niggers posting sneering takes like this. Oldfags are often keepers of the site's history and culture and consistantly provide good posts for the most part, but sometimes burn out, blow their cover as deviants or just lose their goddamn minds. Life goes on, and the mix that is the Kiwi Farms goes on too. Shitposts like this are of no benefit.
 
New Users are faggots has been an excuse since the 2000s. All of us were newfags at some point. The arguement is always stupid, you need new people to keep a site active. We just need to bully new users who are retards more.

All this seethe because people were rightfully criticizing him for making a bad post in the community feature thread btw. And as if it wasn't enough to be smug and unapologetic about it, he doubles down by saying it's us who are uneducated goy cattle and that his great, amazing, legendary, informative posts serve a higher purpose and we just don't get it.

Unhinged is putting it lightly, I seldomly find someone with such a large ego that has been unchecked.

In any case I am fascinated by the psychology that oldfags have specifically on this site where they contribute very little, cause problems for the site, and then complain about "new users" or "the site is dying." I am obviously biased here but every cool contribution to the site I've seen thus far is by someone who has joined in the last five or so years. Many of the new threads, especially lolcow threads, have been made by random new users. Kiwi Station is hosted by a 2024 user. Every time I see a kiwi gold user it's almost unilaterally someone who joined in 2020 or later.

Of the few 2013-2019 oldfags still around (the ones that haven't quit or been banned), they mostly just hang around the supporters forum or designated lefty politisperg threads like dementia patients in care homes waiting to die. Many don't even have green T&H and only come out to shit up on topic threads or attack Null.

I think oldfags like neger want some idea of "the old site" back, before it exploded in popularity with stuff like DKF, and when they don't have it they get really mad and make retarded lamentation posts like this.


That is quite possibly the worst Community Happenings post I've ever seen. Excessively long, doesn't actually name what happened, attaches dumb bullshit rant that isn't relevant, links to the thread but says don't read it.

If this is the "caliber of posts" that neger is making then he's shit at it and should leave the site.

Neger is just looking for someone to blame to try and justify why people could possibly find five paragraphs of vagueposting about le horrible Ukrainian dollar store Fishtank could be seen as stupid. I've been on this site longer than him, over a decade, and can tell you that it's always had about the same level of quality between its posts. The only real difference between posters from the 2010s and now are what the mods are enforcing. Neger has such a vendetta against gif reactions because Null is actively cracking down on them, whereas back then it was done just as often since most of the site was 4chan refugees, but nobody whined about it.

I like @neger psykolog and I hope he comes back. He's not wrong that some newer users intentionally push the buttons of old-timers. What he did wrong was get angry about it. There is very little on this website worth getting upset over.
 
He has 16 thousand posts. He'll be back. Honestly politics-sperging is a shortcut to burn-out and it makes everything else less fun.
