There are a bunch of distinct little shitposting cultures that exist shoulder to shoulder at KF. Obviously there's conflict. Some new users suck. But some old users suck. 99% of everything is garbage. You gotta find the gems.

I fuck up at it too, but he does it deliberately, writing long, self-indulgent posts on what is basically the site's front page and when I'm checking out the Farms while at lunch or perched on the shitter, I started seeing his profile pic, rolling my eyes and scrolling past. Just give the people what they want - information. Maybe a bit of funny. I'm imagining people going about their everyday lives and thinking 'oh, let me check out the Farms' and they get this baffling, incoherent essay of autism and they think 'oh never mind'. It doesn't have to be like that.

The worst part was I thought he was actually joking, like it was some giant prank, but this seems to demonstrate he has an obsession with his self-defined conception of 'quality'.

Not true. You get esteem and belonging. You get to be a "brand-name kiwifarmer". Two of the 5 tiers on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. You get to express your opinion and share it, fulfilling a third tier of the hierarchy.

But apparently thinking of yourself as a brand-name kiwifarmer is mega cringe, and inserting your opinion into community happenings posts is not allowed, because you need to keep it as short and bland as possible.

So what is left? Nothing. It's like a job where you don't get paid.

He enjoyed it when he could use it to express himself. And that is what he was banned for - putting his own opinion and expression into his community happenings posts rather than keeping it short and factual.

If he can't do that, then what does he get out of it? Nothing. What is the point of opening yourself to judgement and criticism in return for nothing?

1777019801653.pngAlright I have figured out the Paradox. Neger's complaint is that back in the old days, a bunch of quality users joined with knowledge of how to use a forum. Nowadays there's low quality users joining only to contribute as a low quality member, making old users more valuable since it is much harder for users to follow the forum format.

I believe he is trying to explain the 1% rule within OP. The 1% rule can only be applied to an Internet community. They also apply to how well the users are familiar with the forum software.

The 1% are the users that create threads, make high quality posts, excel at using Internet tools and frequently archive a lot of pages. They fit the role of being the "brand-name Kiwifarmer."
The 9% are the users that respond to the 1%, they are there to participate in threads and deliver their own messages.
The 90% are the users that barely participates by having sent few messages or simply lurk the site.

These percentages can fluctuate, so take this as a rough estimate.

According to @neger psykolog, he considers himself to be the 1% of the user that engages with the 9%. He also thinks the rest of the users that are low quality posters are the 90% as they are too useless to do anything.

He is arguing that there is an imbalance of the percentage where there are more new users that are unfamiliar with the forum format. They are the 90 % as they aren't regarded enough to post anything of value and can only participate within the conversation. He is factually correct, but is too dumb to realize that no one's impressed. No one here is expected to be the 1%, you are already good enough if you lurk as you are using the site to your best ability. You do not need to impress anyone and they aren't expecting anything from you to impress them. Creating threads and informative posts with archived data is encouraged but not everyone is willing to do it. Users start out as the 90% to later become the 10%. If they are to become the 1% then that will take a lot of dedication. No one should be expected to being dedicated as they use the site to their best ability. Seriously what are you expecting by being the 1%? The only thing I can offer to the 1% is that I acknowledge their work and everyone else consumes your posts.

Negger is what I call, a DSP nigger. DSP niggers are the people who dwell in the DSP part of the farms and think that every time a pube falls from DSP's ball sack is news worthy. They will then cry that whatever mundane thing Phil has done isn't being featured, but then cry when it does get featured causing new people to come check out the thread and ask questions like "who gives a fuck" or "why is this important". Because normal people just see DSP as boring and irrelevant 90% of the time.

A DSP nigger expects you to read thousands of pages of nontent before you dare make a comment on the thread. The CH posts about DSP are almost always shit because they are written by a DSP nigger who assumes you know everything about DSP, know all the inside jokes, fill it with lots of words to try and make something out of nothing, and that you should care about what fast food DSP ate this week. But atleast most of them stay in the DSP part of the forum. Negger doesn't and applies all that same logic to every other thread he goes to and features. Then gets mad when people think his posts are like DSP, boring and irrelevant.

TLDR: DSP niggers are awful, and Negger treats everything he interacts with like DSP niggers treat DSP.

In 7-8 years, all users who have joined within the last 2 years will become annoyed by new users of the future not appreciating their black woman reaction gifs enough.

New users of the future will bully the new users of the past when they post threads about how much effort they put into only posting the highest quality reaction gifs, making the current day new users the neger psychologists of the future.

The new users of the future will themselves face the same scrutiny by their new users when they eventually meltdown over dumb shit and so it goes on and on forever - this is the new user paradox.
