Get hired somewhere. Although that was my goal last year and I didn't.

Not feel like the ugliest woman in the place when I go out.

Get my crush to sleep with me.

Find more old VHS tapes with commercials.

What kind of commercials, and why?

^ i love old commercials. They're like little tiny movies that haven't been seen in years. Also, its just fun to see past trends, etc.

I have a bunch of resolutions:
1. Practice my Italian and Japanese.
2. Practice my trombone.
3. Update my LiveJournal more frequently.
4. Try writing fanfiction.
5. Clean up my room.
6. Get a full-time position at work.
7. Go to Israel for Birthright.
8. Get out of the house and socialize more.
9. Spend less time on the computer.

I'm not sure how I will manage all of these.

Happy New Year guys from Southern California. Hope 2014 can be a great year for us, and I hope that we can try to fulfill one if not all of our New Year resolution's.

Now that the New Year has begun, and people here have shared theirs, I'll share my resolution to you: Spend less time on the computer and more time out with my friends and family.

My resolutions:

Get booked for better events
Lose at least 15 lbs and keep them off
Become more fluent in Spanish

I normally hate resolutions. I feel like if there's something that needs changing, I should start whenever I realize that.

But this year my girlfriend and I have resolved to both lose weight, and made it a challenge between us. So there's that.

Resolutions are disappointments in the making.

HOWEVER, I still make them. Right now, my only resolution is to find an apartment in New York City, as I've just been informed my landlord is shutting down. Now, she's been planning this since December, and he could've told me before vacation. Instead, she sends me an e-mail one day before I come back. So, hey guize, I'm technically homeless!

I want to have such a lifestyle that I'll be able to get my Bachelor's degree within 7 years. No more depressive slumps, please!

For next year, these are the ones I have in mind so far.

Do well at the college math course
Save more money
Cut down on getting games
Play more of my backlog
Go to more social events
Look for ideas on a type of apartment that works for me
Figure out if I can earn a living by working at a Transitional program

In a few months I can achieve hair like this if I'm patient enough and if I can deal with my family complaining about it every Sunday at dinner.

None of these things happened. I only found one tape.

I fulfilled #3 and #7 (and #9 the month I did #7). I barely did #1, #2, and #4. I hope to get more of these done this year!

I'm going to lose 20 pounds or so, move out, record a new album with my band and read more quality literature. If you are the things you consume, I don't think this forum is very positive. No offense, you guys are great.
