I agree that Chris is not trans but is simply trying to take what he thinks is the path of least resistence that in his twisted mind will allow him to lead an easy life. That such co-opting for the lazy path should include a sex change is baffling to anyone rational but to Chris it makes sense because he's, well, Chris.

I should also like to point out that odds are he decided to assume himself as trans because these days trans issues are receiving a lot of attention. I doubt he would go around dressing up as a girl before it became socially accepted to have a trans identity. In other words, he is riding the tailcoats of real transsexuals in order to act like a creep without being called out on it. He heard about this 'trans' thing was now 'cool' so he figured he too could be a part of it, somehow.
 
I don't know about this "Chris isn't trans" thing. I think Chris is trans insofar as you kind of have to accept that anything he does is going to be pretty half assed. He's been at it much longer than most you'd accuse of bandwagoning, too. He just became more brazen about it after Bob died, thank god. I think that kinda indicates how much respect he had for him.
 
I don't think Chris is trans. I think, in his mind, women are the ones who get taken care of. Chris wants a caretaker girlfriend, so he tries to take on the role of a woman.

There's also several successful and beautiful M2F that have lived life as women for decades (heterosexual or lesbian) that have detransitioned motivated by regret.
You assume that Chris thinks like normal people in this situation, but in relation to Chris, tenacity does not mean authenticity. It is always completely possible that just like others, Chris wants something for all the wrong reasons and is willing to go all out (embellishing or distorting the truth) to get it.

Here is also a professor talking about gender identity issues in relation to autism and how people like Chris and others use gender issues as an escape and acceptance, but not physical dysphoria.

I am just adamant about Chris really getting the help he needs.

I find it fascinating that not only does he talk about gender identity but he also talks about those who escape into imagination. Sonichu was Chri's way of coping with the world, as many know it was his safe space, he was able to do anything he pleased with no actual consequences, soon however his world began to be invaded by trolls and people who began to mock it, of course Chris still adores Sonichu but it's not his main prime as it was back then. He adopted the Tomgirl as another way of coping, as many stated and the professor said and I quote "Girls are nice, girls are kind, girls have lots of friends, girls adopted me, if I become a girl will I be cured?" which of course is what happened to Chris do to all his "gal pals". Of course add that to wanting a easier life and less "difficulty" in getting a girlfriend and you got the current Chris.

@Alec Benson Leary Remember when I got really sarcastic and fed up with him when he started on that shit that I went, "Oh my God, that's so fucking funny!" And he actually caught on for a second and asked if I was being sarcastic, which I promptly respond sarcastically with, "Of course not!" And didn't catch on to that.

That presentation was absolutely fascinating and very relevant to the Chris so thank you for sharing. I also think it should be noted that this Tomgirl phase does not entail any effort, at all, so it hardly counts as being persistent in any way. True, he has been going at it for quite a while and is hardly a whim but all he actually has to do is put on horrible girl clothes and let his greasy hair grow longer. In other words, being a Tomgirl does not actually entail actively doing much so being the slob that he is, he needs only plod along with it so it falls right into the pattern of every single thing Chris has ever done in his life.
Once shoddy skirts become a routine, it is a habit and Chris needs only persist in it by letting the power of inertia tide him over. Which is why for the most part he is happy to simply listen to trippy tunes on youtube that are supposed to help him transition while occasionally having a pill or two. It is all very passive and effort free.

I suspect once Chris realizes that the process of actual transitioning is hardly a walk in the park, he'll either change his mind about it or go full autist and trust the tunes to do the job for him (as opposed to considering actual surgery as he has said he would in that recent interview).

Any idea who the "managers" or "associates" are? I notice he doesn't really talk about them anymore but they were brought up pretty frequently at the height of his eBay and etsy sales.
