I had Chris come up with pros and cons about himself.

He mentions in his postscript that your friend and her mother made a "downhill difference" in his life. Was this that woman who suggested Chris get a short haircut and reacted angrily? Is that what this is in reference to?

If he should ever find himself making a curriculum vitae when he's finally forced to get a job due to his mother's crippling debt, I hope he includes "likes lesbians" on it.

"Lesbian" in a past life
(woman) in past life (and the ugly growth and the Autism are my punishment of that past life; I reasonably firmly believe that theory
Yes because it's a theory that justifies anything he wants to claim

Looks good in dresses and skirts
:autism:+:horrifying:=:deviant:

Lol, Just No
Sometimes, when I read Chris' terrible ideas, I feel like a film crew is going to pop out at the end of a sentence for some prank show.

I come off as some sort of a very scary person to other people
Sort of? Well, at least he has like 10 percent of his self-awareness intact.

Past is past, and I can't really into the modern present
:autism:+:autism:=:dumb:

"Talks trash when easily hurt or offended"
Great way to say you have an anger management problem without admitting that you have one.
Jeez, Chris can actively toot his own horn, yet when it comes to his drawbacks, he passively has to insert others into BS as if it's their fault.

"Hates gay males"
Still waters run deep, Chris.

It's interesting to see that he's more aware of his failings than he's usually given credit for.

He has his lucid moments and I'm pretty sure I really hounded him into doing this so he really had to think about it. Next day he was most likely back to blaming everyone else because actually accepting responsibility for his downfalls gives him the prickly wicklies.

The friend was Amy. I accidentally redacted it but was too lazy to undo it.

He genuinely believes he looks great in a skirt? I don't even. But these e-mails are truly depressing, they start out annoying and pathetic, then add some hypocrisy (Tomgirling is fine but he hates gays and does not like guys walking around nake chested, does not seem to view any irony in this) while upping the pathetic content and it culminates in sad, sad, and even more pathetic as he lists his flaws.

And now I feel a bit sorry for him, despite myself. Good grief, what a horror show.

It is Classic Chris in that bit about the rainbow standing for unity, but then those evil queer men stole it and now, to Chris, it has a negative meaning and deserves hate from him.

He really has worked "empathy" and it's derivatives in pretty hardcore with descriptions lately. I wonder if that's one thing that many people have told him he lacks and it hit him somehow, so now he needs to advertise it.

Intelligent.. but then Often Blank in the Mind, Sometimes Retarded, Autism..

No one will hire him, then he lays out a list of pretty much why they won't, but probably doesn't put the two together.

It was nice to see him at least blame himself for a tiny bit, until the catch all excuse of "da trolls" being the real push for the problems he has.

I don't think we know about Amy. What's the story there?

It's hilarious that he's nothing like the pros he wrote.I knew he lack self-awareness but to that level? It look like a list of everything he doesnt have or that people told him he lacks.

Atleast he's (kinda)aware of his failling and his hatred for gay males.

I brought this up before, but Chris reminded me of Brendan Fraser's character in "Blast from the Past" who's whole character/personality was shaped by his isolation inside a bomb shelter his parents set up during the Cuban Missile Crisis, only to pop out near the close of the 20th century and see just how different everything was.

It's fumy that you mention Blast From The Past...

So you asked him to list pros and cons and he just slapped it all under one big "I dunno" list? That's... very Chris.

If reincarnation was real and Chris was the result of a person being punished for a past life they were probably someone who deserved a life like his, like Eva Braun.

Top right, click the gear and hit view full resolution to see the full list, I made the same mistake reading it at first too.

Yeah, I'm a dummy. Thanks *yawn*

Now that I've seen the whole thing, I see "lifting a box of heavy records" is the new ten-ton doghouse

That's the best part of the film for me! I just love the little history of the bar that gets built above the bunker and how it leads to this moment where the owner finally retires and hands her place over to her 'son', whom pretty much goes from straight-laced employee at the start to a derelict drunkard at the end before the main guy comes up. It felt like I knew people growing up who were like this, they start out feeling optimistic and full of potential, only to be squandered and thrown out like empty liquor bottles the way they change over the years.

That he acknowledges he knows people think he's "some sort of scary person" makes me wonder what he sees in the mirror. It's actually pretty sad.

If only he deserved sympathy and really was just a misunderstood but gentle creature. Of course, that not being the case, it turns the whole trope on it's head.

To me the most striking thing about this set of emails is that Chris is willing to admit he gets angry and emotional way to easily. But I love how the list of negative things about himself quickly veers off into a mini rant of everything he hates. As if those things are somehow to blame for all of his faults.
Also, "GOD DAMNIT, CHRISTIAN!":story:

Hates more than 99% of males, trash talks for no reason, wonders why no one will hire him. Thats Chris for you...
Not just males but gay males too.
Chris' hatred of da brute males is a lot more pathological than androphobia; I think it's similar to why he hates Aspies, they're all much more superior to him.
