If you really want to see how manipulative and unstable Barb is...Chris was planning on going to Magfest but his parents put a quick stop to it.

I'll be honest, as pathetic and sad as these e-mails are, per usual, they actually give a glimmer of a hope for Chris. The fact that he seemed to enjoy helping out the homeless was surprising and almost moving. Now if only he could make a habit out of that. Odds are I am being too optimistic but still.
By the way, what does he mean by being "psychologically matched to the high school and college dropout who shot the people in Arizona"?

Despite 'pre-quilt' being a great Chris phrase, that was all kinds of sad. Barb straight up threatening to leave the house and talking of wanting to die one moment then helping console Chris and crying with him the next sounds like she strings him between both extremes. That 'we three are a unit and can never split up' talk was also pretty creepy.

'One of us in three leaves, and the other two are just as good as dead, homeless and lost.'

I did kinda laugh when he said she called him on his cell phone from downstairs though. And Chris bringing his Sega to church for the homeless was genuinely nice.

He's never called out to me. Sometimes I'll say "hi" in passing to see if it'll illicit anything but he's pretty fucking clueless. Back when I first started I was so worried about him recognizing me places but now it doesn't phase me.

Would he say "hi" back or just kind of mumble something or ignore you altogether? Asking 'cause Chris seems adamant in his thinking that girls should approach him and I'm curious as to whether he'd actually do anything in the rare instance that one does say "hi" to him.

The guy who shot Gabby Giffords and killed a judge and a few other people, I'd guess.

Wow. As if I needed any more reasons to hate Barb, that's it right there. What a manipulative cunt and then some.

I do not blame Bob for dissuading Chris from venturing outside one single bit. If you had a tard son who got trolled into driving to some ghetto in Ohio and he wants to leave for this "Magfest" because some stranger on the internet told him about it, would YOU let him go? Of course, Barb is a different story.

The most surprising revelation is that Chris is actually aware of not being royalty, so he's been knowingly lying about it.

This seems likely. The email was about a week after it happened, so it still would have been heavily in the news.

Man, that whole email. Between Chris' childishness and Barb's manipulation, I don't think I've ever rolled my eyes that hard.

The only consolation is that Chris is way too damn annoying for anyone to try and take advantage of him for long periods of time. Chris' personality in reference to the world is kind of like the effects of sugar on a healthy body, you just rationally don't want to expose yourself to it for long periods of time.

So kind of Chris to have starving, underfed homeless people in his thoughts by temporarily giving them a 17-year-old video game console to play with.
The letter was from 2011, so the console was only 11 years old at that point. Maybe nowadays he'd let them play a HexBox 360.

Not letting Chris go to MAGFEST was bullshit. They don't want to help him grow or treat his autism and instead would rather just lock him up in his room. If they were so afraid of Chris driving around on his own then one of them could have taken him themselves. It's not like they have anything better to do
The thing is, they were already old people at the time. I would imagine that it would be difficult for older people to keep up with Chris, especially back then when anything and everything with boobs caught his eye. The spectacle of Chris' life could have been prevented if Borb made better life decisions; the first being using a condom.

Speaking of which, I was aware that older mothers are at risk of conceiving Downs Syndrome children but it was only upon being introduced to the wonder that is Chris that it came to my attention that autism is another hazard in such cases. So yes, in a very literal sense you are very right.

They needed his tug boat. If they gave him too much freedom, he might leave tug boat and all. This is not conducive to the hoard.

I love how the emails were like "I'm suffering, and crying. And mom wants to kill herself. And I don't deserve to talk to you. But here are some funny LBP2 pictures. Available for Playstation 3."

OK, I read the whole thing.

That was gut-wrenching. How low can Chris's parents get? :(

No wonder he has the disposition of a two-year-old. And I thought the only time he really whined was when he was trying to get a girl or get something off the internet.

Well, if you are a liar like barb, your tolerance goes lower and lower. Thats why many liars are get caught even if they have experience lying. The lies get more insane and unbelievebable.
Faking a heart-attack (iirc @Marvin mentioned something like that) is pretty insane.
