So he doesn't really write in specifics about his pets, but here's an email shortly after Chris' first encounter with alcohol and telling his dad(who subsequently told Barb).

 
"Giving me two minutes of her emotions", way to quantify a woman's feelings; I guess Chris thinks he is the perfect woman because he put up with Barb's measurable squawking about her precious Crishun.
The part about Chris confirming Bob is a complete lush is just amazing; "He's sampled a lot of varieties in his lifetime", alcohol was one of the reasons that lead to Chris being spawned in the back of whatever car Bob was driving at the time.
 
Barb and Bob met in a bar, drunk off their asses, and then would go out drinking while Chris had a babysitter. Then they got mad because Chris drank alcohol after he was of legal age.

I guess they were mad because they learned from experience.

The only thing he could not do while drunk, like them, was land a mate to make slow children with.

Wow, Chris is aware of "I statement" manipulation, and the fact that Barb uses it. He probably didn't put 2 and 2 together that it is a form of emotional manipulation though, and just hears of it as a way of self expression to gain sympathy, likely from one of his therapy or special ed staff people.

Do we know that they went out drinking specifically? I know it says that on the CWCki but I also know it tends to play up the whole "Barb and Bob were major alcoholics" theme.

The way it seems to go is Borb met at a bar or something and, after having Chris, would leave the mute little thing home when he was very young to go out drinking, with a babysitter who abused/neglected him at the same time.

It really puts the pieces together to suggest what a mistake Chris was after all given the circumstances.

About this whole MAGFest thing, remember that Chris's plan was literally to sleep in the hotel lobby until he was able to worm his way into one of Jackie's friends' beds and bang them. (that's what Barb's "blankets" remark was about) Bob and Barb weren't wrong to tell him to stay home. It's just that since they were horrible people, they did it in a horrible way.

Most surprising to me was hearing about Bob encouraging the toxic dependency.

If Bob really wanted Chris to go he could have booked a room for him like with Anime Mid-Atlantic. Barb didn't give a shit if he slept in his car. She's an abusive, manipulative cunt who is paranoid about losing her hoard funds (as well as emotional punching bag).

She probably couldn't prevent Bob from allowing Chris to attend Anime Mid-Atlantic because she didn't have anything to back up her paranoia, and Bob was in somewhat better health to stand up to her. But after the Ohio incident she had something real to work with now. If those evil trolls Mike Snyder and Megan convinced Chris to leave in the night and drive to Ohio, who knows what they'll get him to do next? So Bob was probably thinking of another Ohio incident when he put his foot down in addition to no longer attempting to stand up to Barb. Barb however had her excuse to justify her paranoia. Abusive people don't like to give their punching bags potential openings to leave them behind.

I have heard other people mention on the forum that Chris' English--both spoken and written--have deteriorated in the last few years and I think that's probably true for a number of reasons. When Chris was interacting and emailing multiple people (a lot of them trolls or white knights) frequently his sentence structure and punctuation seemed a little more normal. I think he's always had those weird quirks involving capitalization and incorrect word usage to some extent, but it seems to me that lately most of his speech and writing is coming out as a garbled mess. Also I think that now that Bob is out of the picture Chris isn't getting the level of socialization he did in the past--just interacting with someone on a daily basis face to face can make a world of difference to someone with speech and communication problems. So yeah I think that Chris is regressing in that aspect. Just my two cents.
