I'm almost caught up on his Conspiracy Iceberg series. I'd say he's good, and by far the most competent at the Iceberg video. Those that I have watched, have ranged from bad(giving the most surface two sentence synopsis) to awful (literally just reading the text off the meme, no description).
However, when ever he talks about anything sciencey, I start to wonder if he's an exceptional individual. I don't actually believe he's dumb, he definitely puts a lot of effort into research, and he's typically very good at communicating concepts. However, when he brings up the word Quantum, I'm likely to cringe.

Same, It fairly obvious he doesn't understand how quantum physics works but then again it's kinda hard to blame him for that given how bizarre it is. All around his content is pretty good and such.

My only criticism with Wendigoon is the dad thing that has attracted the worst sort of youtube community in the comments. Gone are the actual discussions about the content now it's just 'Dad pls give me attention"

Eh, he tries, and I have to give him credit for researching the topics. If I remember right, he went to school more to be a historian than a scientist, so he's gonna be stronger in one field than the other.

I saw a few people mention MrBallen a few pages back: I watched a few of his videos recently, so now my entire recommended feed is this guy's stuff. He's decent -- nothing too special, and as others have pointed out, his delivery/style is great, but he does the algorithm clickbait game too hard. Hell, he even makes the soy face in some of his thumbnails, despite being this tough military dudebro character.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to trash the guy. Like, whatever he's trying to do, it's clearly working because these videos get millions of views, and he just kind of appeared out of nowhere, so obviously he knows how to play the coveted algorithm game. More power to him, I guess. However, he still covers the same true crime topics that we've already heard about a million times already like Dyatlov Pass, Elisa Lam, Nutty Putty Cave, etc. etc.

obviously could just be a joke (Spoilered comment just says “poop”. I didn’t feel like opening it for the screenshot) but the angle and lack of lighting from anything other than the camera flash
There is also a separate role for 18+ users (which tbf there seems be a pretty okay system where you have to provide your id, a picture of your face, Discord tag and the current date shown somewhere in the photo) but I haven’t gotten myself verified yet (just been lazy and haven’t felt like contacting an admin and doxing myself to them) so I can’t speak for his behavior on the nsfw side of the server.

I should have clarified that the 18+ side of the server was described as being as a place to “support” sex workers and letting them advertise/ post pictures. Again, I haven’t gotten access yet.
I can commend the level of security to get the 18+ role in the server and the intent on promoting people (sfw artists and content creators are also encouraged to share their stuff so it’s not just pop up window lvl tier porn ads) but at this point, I feel like he’s tempting fate into getting tangled up in some Projared cheating scandal kind of stuff.
Especially since he’s been known to use tik tok and has admitted to making throw away accounts to accessing the service again. The emphasis to never using a throw away account for anything other than investigating something is a weird thing to bring up as most people assume a throwaway account is going to be used one time and tossed away...like the name implies. Why would you make a point that you don’t use your throwaway for anything else if you didn’t want to dissuade viewers to go looking for it for some reason?
I get weird vibes from him so I’ll continue hate watching and snooping around the discord for anything. If he just turns out to be an edgy weirdo then I’ll apologize and will carry about my day. If he turns out to be more, I got the evidence to back it up.
Also call me a prude but I generally don’t agree with non-sexual Nsfw and sfw youtubers trying to incorporate sex work stuff even on the downlown. It particularly feels like a weird way to get away with being horny on main without being called out for it.

So, remember a few months ago when some of you guys debated whether or not ScareTheater was that All Things Lost guy -- since the former's disappearance coincides with the latter's sudden rise in popularity, and their voices/mannerisms are oddly similar? Well, out of boredom I was going through Barley Sociable's tweets, and he gives an update...
...apparently ScareTheater stopped making his videos on his channel. Maybe that All Things Lost guy is actually him, and he's trying to rebrand himself under a new persona? It wouldn't be the 1st time this sorta thing happened. Like, there's that Punished Creepswork/Ten Bond guy who did something similar where he gave up with his main channel and did something like his old channel, but rebranded his persona.

This is something that I think That Chapter does really well. He's never in the thumbnails making faces and uses pictures of the people involved in the case with the victim/murders name on the top left corner and his logo in the bottom left. They catch my eye a lot more since I see more about what the video is gonna be rather than just him, and just feels less... intrusive overall.

Pretty sure YouTube's going to get tired of Plagued Moth's shit soon. His two most recent videos about the TikTok beheading clip have both been age restricted and the same can be said for a few of his other vids. I know he wants to promote his content as "ThE moSt ConTROveRSiaL ComMenTAry oN YoUTUbE" but he's basically painting a target on his back.

GHE is probably the closest to a legitimate masterclass in analog horror, but mostly because L58 and the others have been quiet. Remy knows what he isn't good at, and works around deficiencies with camerawork and performances pretty well. Analog horror is made in the editing, and GHE knows how to build tension with just some title cards and warped jazz.
