I get that "why aren't you more social?" nagging a lot. And it's silly, for reasons you allude to. There's a difference between asocial and ANTI-social. Asocial is you don't go to parties even if invited. Anti-social means you go to parties you weren't invited to, often with firearms.

And Nice Guys always go for the women that are out of their league. I'm sorry, but if you're obese, and smell bad, you ain't getting anyone except other obese, smelly people. It's not fair, but life is not fair. The sooner you realize that the better you'll be equipped to deal with the real world. If you're ugly, you ain't getting the supermodel, unless you happen to be rich, or have some other quality that's attractive. And I'm not implying that women are inherently greedy. If an ugly woman who was a billionaire expressed interest in most guys, they'd go for it. Practicality wins out over aesthetics every time.

Looks are important but charisma and stability even more so. I've seen incredibly attractive women pair up with pretty dumpy looking guys because those guys are (genuinely) nice, charismatic, and hold down steady and promising careers.

But if you're just some neckbeard whose biggest accomplishment is speed-running Dark Souls then yeah, good luck getting the sorority girl.

Also, I know this will come as a shock to most Nice Guys, but attractiveness is not indicative of any other quality. The radiant goddess you're lusting after might turn out to be lousy in the sack. She might be totally boring. She might be a high-functioning psychopath who gets off on manipulating guys and destroying them. But Nice Guys will give a girl a pass no matter how horrible she is if she's pretty.

Facebook, Twitter, et al need to post a guide that says "if someone doesn't respond to your first two messages, they don't want to talk to you, but they're afraid of incurring your wrath by telling you to go away, and hope if they ignore you, you'll get the hint. Don't be a spoiled brat. Just drop if they don't respond and find someone who will talk to you. They're out there."
Also, it's good that exchange occurred over social media and not in real life, because if he flips out like that online, imagine what he'd do if rejected in person. It's 50/50 that he's quiet and meek offline, or he might be a budding domestic abuser.

Sadly, I'm more than 50/50 confident that's it. Whatever girl he winds up with, it's all her fault that everyone else was mean to him and didn't give him the respect he's earned, and damned if she isn't going to be taken to task for it. But it's only because he loves her so passionately...
