Plagued Nice Guys

It looks like nice guys from the 50's and 60's were more educated and well balanced too, because I've seen 3rd graders with better punctuation and sentence structure, and didn't cry this much when they don't get what they want.

It's called a period champ. Maybe you'd impress a few more girls if they could understand what you're writing. How can you ask a girl to marry you after the first date over text if you don't know what a question mark is?

An actual nice guy from the 50's-60's was actually working from the age of 14-15, not wasting his time behind a keyboard and videogames well over his thirties like most nowadays nice guys do.

Do you wanna go on a date? (It doesn't have to be a date.)

If all the other threads I read in community watch are like my vegetables, then the nice guy and incel threads are like the dessert I get for being a good boy who finishes his dinner.

Did Russell Greer write this?

Typical guys in the 50's and 60's:
Often had military experience, compulsory or otherwise.
Often had basic knowledge of making household and automotive repairs.
Had full time jobs.
Had probably been in a few fights by the time they were adults.

I know I am repeating a dead gospel, but those "nice guys"'always miss one thing.
SEX IS NOT A REWARD OR A DUTY.
Objectively speaking, it's just the biological function needed to reproduce.
Subjectively speaking, it's one of the most unifying acts between to people, one of the fullest expressions of their connection.

In my opinion those guys take most of their idea about sex from videogames, as a reward if you romance enough a character or pick the right choice. Only thing they forget in this flawless(?) logic is that real girls and women are not one-dimensional characters that run on a script like in VNs/Dating sims. They are three diemensional human with a vast and different array of emotions, interests, insecurities, problems, etc....

They also don't get that being attracted to or caring about someone does not in any way obligate the object of your affections to feel anything for you back. These entitled little shits always throw tantrums about that, screeching about how they "deserve a chaaaaance" from a lady solely based on the fact they want to bang her. But they don't. No one "deserves a chance" when it comes to romance, sex, or relationships. Everyone is perfectly free to turn down whoever the fuck they want for any reason they want, or even no reason at all.

I agree. Those "Nice Guys" can't seem to grasp the concept of platonic friendship with girls and women.
"Are we in good terms? Do we talk and do things together? She's not my mother/sister? Then we should fuck or she's a thot".
In my opinion, it's quite a cruel way to behave with a person who tried to establish a friendship or worse yet, give attention and care for pity and/or out of goodwill.

This. And they don't have to explain why. "Fuck off" is a reason unto itself.

Yep. Also I can't understand why these guys can be just grateful for the friendship.
When I was in High School, there was a period in which I was very very down.
My deskmate ( we were assigned by the teachers and couldn't choose) who was a fair 8/10 (I was and still am no more than 6/10 - sorry for the autistic numbering) noticed and started to chat me up.
We discovered we shared a couple of interests and became friends. She essentially became my gal-pal.
Now. Did I cherish her friendship? Absolutely yes.
Did I blow everything by acting the Nice Guy and wanting something that would never be realistically possible? Absolutely not.
I was grateful to her, and she is one of the few classmates I still stalk to this day keep contact with.

What are that odds that he had never spoken to this girl before buying her wine and flowers?
