Plagued Nice Guys

They want women to marvel at their gaming skills the way they watch jocks play sports. Whenever a girl is interested in video games they lash out at them for being frauds because they can’t live in a world where they’re not the greatest male gamer alive.

Women are in three categories to them.
"Dumb slut who rejects me that is out of my league but i won't admit that to myself"
"She plays video games too, what a poser, fake gamer girl" (literally found out she was a girl in-game 3 minutes ago)
"She's too ugly for me, not my type"

Though none of them are actually human to the gentlesir, of course. They're just NPCs in a game where they could get the "bad end" of being just friends. Oh the horror. Being friends with a girl.

• There's nothing wrong with being a virgin. The problem is that these guys obsess over it to the point where it becomes the focal part of their identity.
• It is weird and shallow to open up a conversation by telling a woman she's beautiful. Compliments are great, but they need to be said the right way at the right time. If you just walk up to someone and blurt out "Hey, beautiful"- especially if you don't know them or barely know them- then it comes across as weird.
• A lot of women don't want to be worshipped as a queen. This is a common delusion that Nice Guys have; they don't realize that a lot of women are uncomfortable with being put on a high pedestal and just want to be treated like normal humans.
• The whole "holding open doors for women is sexist" thing is so overblown. The vast majority of people think that holding the door open for everyone (not just women) is polite behavior. Unless this guy is actually, like, running in front of women to open doors for them. That would be weird.
• "I deserve to get my fucking nut like everyone else" is amazing and needs to be Random Text. Anyway, I love how he tries to put on the Nice Guy front at first but then it rapidly devolves into "REEEEEEE I DESERVE SEX, FUCK WOMEN AND FUCK CHAD"

The only women who want to be worshipped as a queen are professional dominatrixes or women who are the dominant partner in a dominant/submissive relationship. Even then, most people involved in that take a break from it from time to time where they interact as regular partners. If a woman insists on being treated this way all the time, odds are she's a raging narcissist, and will make life for anyone suckered into a relationship with her pure hell. Nice guys might get roped in at first, but remember they have a script how things are supposed to go in their heads, and the second the woman does something they don't anticipate, hilarity happens for those who can just observe.

That guy friendzoned a girl and wanted asspats for it? OK, I think I get it. Nice Guys are into power. They want power over women, because they feel women have power over them. I even think their motivations for sex are related to the power they perceive sex gains them. This guy comes across like somebody who was friendzoned countless times and is now deadset on doing it to women to even the score.

If I recall correctly, the previous post that the group's admin was alluding to was one where he got into an argument about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because he held the minority opinion of enjoying the film.

There’s a trend with all these nice guys using disapproval to get emotional leverage. They keep talking down to women and openly rejecting them moments after initiating conversation. They must expect an apology or admission of shame from the woman they’re bothering. I bet the trick works on mom like a charm though. Nice guys have piece of shit coddling mommies.

How much crossover is there between nice guys and the manosphere? How about male feminists? Or are they like a distinct sub-species altogether that superficially look similar? Kinda like how dolphins and sharks "coevolved" but are not actually related, they just superficially look alike. In this case, their behavior seems similar even though their ideologies are different.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer when I used the search function and a study I found on them didn't have the answers either, even though it was an interesting read.

This paper is about a forum called BlueSky and she discusses "nice guys." The author is a feminist who was gradually accepted by this online community.

Highlights of this article:
1. Waitress rejected Nice Guy's advances.
2. Nice Guy stalks her and she ran away from him.
3. Nice Guy chases her down, dragged her into the bushes and punches her.
4. Waitress fears to be in hospital and refused to seek treatment for fear that Nice Guy will track her down.
5. In Nice Guy's defence, waitress was a 'whore', he was intoxicated and his judgement impaired.
6. Apparently Nice Guy wasn't remorseful, claimed he acted in self-defence, pleaded not guilty and intended to appeal.
7. This summarises the entire fiasco the best, "Most men, when rejected, walk away. The accused, however, was unable to accept the fact that a waitress would reject him."
