nah you have to take into account the environment at the time
young kayla was a pretty normal looking girl, young nick was a pretty normal looking guy (maybe a bit spergy, but above average height)
remember, they met like 20 years ago, a time before two thirds of college girls were walking red flags (blue hair, onlyfans, obese, radfem, progtard, or a combination of those)
