Speaking of Wolman, I have a theory concerning Rekieta and Randazza that has to do with Wolman. It's a theory that I suspect some people here might also share based on comments I've read in this thread.

We all know that Nick's first brush with Wolman and Randazza wasn't exactly positive. This led some people to express shock than Randazza even agreed to take Nick's case in the first place.

I don't think Randazza gives a single solitary fuck if he actually wins or loses Nick's case. I think he took the case because he realized from that past experience involving Wolman that Nick is an arrogant cocksure dipshit, and he can use Nick's willingness to spend asinine amounts of money to try an extreme long-short argument that would be a feather in his cap IF he actually pulled it off. Something that would be of great benefit to your professional reputation, but not a maneuver you'd not want to try with a client you actually liked or where you'd want to mitigate expenses and damages. Either way, Randazza gets paid.

It's just interesting to me that in going over Randazza's comments about this whole thing, his statements concerning the case are very nebulous. He calls the case stupid, but in a way that can be taken a lot of different ways.
