I don't consider Nik a lolcow. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's a performer and a smart businessman who is completely playing the system by pretending to have meltdowns, pretending to fight with his boyfriend, and hell, if you pay attention to his mukbangs, you will see that he rarely even finishes 1/3rd of his food.

From his 3 youtube channels, he's getting about 30 million views a month. That's a lot of sweet ad revenue money, probably into the six figures. His onlyfans is also doing well. Nik the smart businessman figured out that posting disgusting content is going to make people sign up just for the morbid curiosity, and it has worked.

I don't know if Nik does sponsorships and/or merch sales. But if he did, I'd imagine he'd be getting over a million dollars a year.

Sacrificing your health is worth it for that amount of money. I also imagine when his career inevitably falls, he will lose the weight with all the fuck you money he has.

I would agree, but it's not just his health he's sacrificing. He's lost all his dignity with the porn and the breakdowns, however fake they are. Okay, he makes his millions and loses the weight - then what? Hide away from the public eye with Orlin for the rest of their lives? Change his identity?

Doubling your body weight in a few years isn't a smart business decision, it's mental illness.

He and Trisha do have a lot of similarities. They both clearly have cluster B personality disorders. It's a toss up between histrionic and borderline IMO. They are both self-aware enough to successfully market themselves to a large audience in a way that is entertaining, even if some of it is far more rooted in reality than they want people to believe.

They are both very successful and bringing in a lot of cash, sure. They are also both insane, severely unstable, and not at all in full control of their actions nor happily planning their content out behind the scenes.

additionally, it doesn't seem like he has any real contact with his family, or if he does it's extremely limited. think about it, if nik was your cousin/brother/son/nephew/whatever, would you want to be associated with him and his antics? i imagine he was disowned long before all the videos of him literally shitting the bed were posted, but if he wasn't, that would absolutely be the last straw.

i value the relationships i have with my family a great deal, and i know that if i were to post multiple videos of me shitting myself or all over my sheets they would absolutely drop contact with me out of sheer embarrassment - that's why i don't do that. nik's family seems very strict and disconnected - the way his dad and sister speak to him in videos he's done with them indicates that he wasn't terribly close to them in the first place before he went off the deep end with his content. he's also mentioned in legitimate breakdown videos that his parents have never sincerely said they love him, and he's clearly got some baggage from being adopted and forming secure attachments.

i dunno. just knowing that makes me think that he's just being self destructive and intentionally causing himself harm with these videos regardless of if they're staged or not. these last few uploads have made it pretty obvious that whether or not it's all an act isn't relevant if it leads to him losing his dignity, relationship with his family, and any other job prospects once youtube stops being a lucrative source of income.

You make it sound like he has to go into witness protection. Plenty of people don't watch YouTube. Even more people would never even dream of venturing into the drama/mukbang corner of YouTube.

Depending on what he chooses to do with his life he can easily walk away from youtube laughing all the way to the bank.

The joke is more subtle. Start watching about 19 minutes. He compares the burrito to his "new boyfriends" dick explicitly, and says basically "this is a taste of what we're doing".

New video is cringe Nick like really cringe. Blames audience for his weight gain. Teases shitting the bed whilst showing nothing. Just pure clickbait. Talks about a living assistant when touring the circles of hell with Dante is more tempting. Overall he is really reaching and keeps reciting the same words in one bit 6 times in a row. Gets incredibly old. The audience are tired Nick of this whole Orlin shit literally same thing for the past 6 months and now it has reached its apex. If he fucking reveals Orlin on Sunday I am done but a lot of people will be too I predict. TLDR Orlin is boring AF and Nicks clickbaiting is we been knew stage.

To the previous poster that calls Nick clever, you are a tard. Nick is nothing but a whore, he traded his "talent" and well-being for money and attention and kinda got neither. Not all attention is good attention as a lot of his behaviour as in false clicking is dubious and I feel youtube will cull that shit basically because the DMCA in which things need to be as described. He had a marriage that at one point was happy and nail gunned that shit. His family avoid him entirely as do Orlin's. He has no degree and his health is imploding to Amberlynn levels.
