both projects have been forked. as soon as Nintendo cut off each head, a dozen more sprouted in their place. Switch emulation lives on, and continues to be the only good way to play the small handful of worthwhile Switch-exclusive games.

yes, in order to access this feature you must simply throw your Switch in the garbage and install an emulator. this home console model costs approximately $0.

My thoughts exactly, the moment I saw that it seemed like something that would break within the first year of so of even light use.

It would be nice to know the specs of the new model, the switch often got 30fps or less on 360 titles. To be fair though that is what the 360 got.

Maybe on PC but all the android forks are basically dead. I pretty much just used the emulators to play switch games on my phone. I don't really need to play them on PC but it was nice having access to console and PC quality games on my phone.

Or simply those that want to play their casual PC gaymes on the go, there is a market for that. if there wasn't, MSI, Lenovo, Asus and multiple chicom companies wouldn't make their own Steam Deck copycats.
Still i don't believe any of these portable PC turds will damage Switch 2 sales.

Reveal, then full presentation 2-3 months after that, then console launch a couple months after the presentation
 
Here I was hoping that the name "Nintendo Ounce" that got leaked suggested a version of the console that wasn't strapped to some glass/screen. Alas. Never undocked my Switch, and the screen and whatnot is just a bunch of additional complexity that I paid for that I never use.

There is no way it'll sell anywhere near what the Switch sold. That said, it better have Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring out on the day of release!

I hope the controller sold separately has Hall effect sticks because my Switch controller is acting up on the one stick. I could modify it for new sticks though.
