‘Yeah, this feels like $9.99 is not an exorbitant price. It feels like a good value for what you’re getting out of the product.'
It would be one thing if the online was actually good. But i’ve had more times than i can count that i got an error when trying to log into the store. At this point, i use DekuDeals to see what’s on sale.plus cost of the online. Considering the sheer amount of correcting they have to do, they haven't made things clear in the first place.I don't think this will necessarily change minds but misinformation is awful and this seems to be the latest version of the subject in question, so.
No, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games are not just going to give you a download code.

<brings up the cow
nice strawman
Speaking of cows and lolcows, Alyssa Mercante's simp Jake Steinberg posted this video about the Nintendo Switch 2. And yes, he literally looks like and acts like a soyboy beta cuck that simps for her."COWS CANNOT DRIVE GO KARTS!" is this guy's personal "SONIC'S ARMS ARE NOT BLUE!" moment.
Ironically Cody Pre-Puppet ERA from SML would have the same reaction.View attachment 7187567
I legitimately think even fucking Pink Gold Peach was a better concept and playable character than 20 different Mario Enemy Glup Shitto track obstacles made into playable characters. Even including every single dumbass Koopaling was a better idea. Who on the planet looks at this roster and thinks "boy oh boy I can't wait to play as the forgettable cow roadblock enemy from Moo Moo Meadows"?
As a kid during the SNES and N64 era, the only time we got a game was at Christmas and it was a game that my dad would also want to play. Otherwise, we would go to blockbuster to rent a game for the weekend. Even that was maybe an every few months occurrence.

Y'know. This thing might actually do worse than the virtual boy. At least that worked properly.
“So key cards will start up on the console or system that it is slotted into, so it’s not tied to an account or anything,” said Sasaki.
That behavior is different from the Switch games that Nintendo currently sells in retail locations, which feature a download code instead of a physical cartridge. Those codes can only be used a single time and are connected to a specific Nintendo account, preventing them from being resold at a later date.
Game-key cards automatically trigger a game download when inserted into a Switch 2 console. Once the game is downloaded and installed, an internet connection “...is only required when you launch the game for the first time,” according to a support page on Nintendo’s website. After that initial launch check the game can be played without an internet connection, as long as the game-key cartridge is still inserted into the console.
He looks like Jeff Bergman if he ended up becoming a pedophile instead of a successful voice actor.Speaking of cows and lolcows, Alyssa Mercante's simp Jake Steinberg posted this video about the Nintendo Switch 2. And yes, he literally looks like and acts like a soyboy beta cuck that simps for her.

It’s inarguable that Nintendo’s PR department is completely retarded.I don't think this will necessarily change minds but misinformation is awful and this seems to be the latest version of the subject in question, so.
I'm pretty sure it does. I've taken it to mean that it's a lot like the PS4/5 and Xbox one/Series X discs where you insert the disc and you can download it, but then that disc acts as the license to actually play the game and needs to be inserted to play the downloaded content. I could give that disc to my friends or family and they too can download the game, but they would also need to have the disc inserted to play and if I took it back, then the downloaded game can't be played. The same, I would presume, will be true for the key cards.Ok. So does that mean if a friend borrows the game they can download it without any charges? It's not really clarifying much. The game game can be played offline as long as it's in the slot. I guess it will all make more sense once people have hand on experience with the system.
Modding them's a pain in the ass; nobody bothers. It might be worth it if we do get a cart-based S1 exploit dropping with the S2 or if there's a single hardcopy game you're particularly interested in. If the heavily-used gen1 switch is one of the exploitable ones it's probably worth it for a decent price if you've got any interest in the library, although filling a card with random games isn't the simple pick-from-a-menu-and-wait it used to be a year or two ago due to Nintendo's crackdowns. He has this barely used gray lite and says I can cop it for 50 bucks. Is that worth it at this point? Also, what's the custom firmware situation looking like? He's selling a gen 1 switch too, but it's much more heavily used and I'd prolly just use it in handheld mode anyway. Anybody itt have any experience with day to day use and/or hacking the switch lite?
Yes, the switch 2 is going to sell less than 750k lifetime when the previous lowest-selling nintendo handheld sold 75 million. Thank you for your meaningful and not at all reddit-tinged contribution to the thread.https://www.theverge.com/news/644457/nintendo-switch-2-joy-con-controller-hall-effect-joystick-drift

needs a modchip which has to be microsoldered to the board. If you are going to chip one just get an OLED so you can do TV output and game streaming (lite is missing the encoder hardware) and overclock it a lot higher.and/or hacking the switch lite?
