I think the $80 price tag is really dumb but Jesus Fuck these faggots on Twitter and YouTube trying to whip people up into a frenzy over it and other Switch 2 information/misinformation are insane, like the dude that posted the Trump Assassination meme over the belief that Tariffs had anything to do with it, the modern internet is a fucking disease, I really don't understand what happened to just don't buy it, I mean sure missing out on Nintendo games sucks but virtually everything else is released on PC nowadays anyway

Jewtendo is selling this shit at a profit margin in Japan for 300 bucks. This plastic toy is probably 100 bucks a pop to produce. People have no idea how tech costs nowadays.

Thats why I'm holding off. Seems like a 3DS situation in the making. Also, there's only like 2 games and you have to wait a month to get DK.

Same here, I'm also hoping for a jailbreak as soon as possible.
Perhaps they'll even do another "Ambassador Program" for all early adopters. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars more just to get a bunch of free nes and gba games

Games like Zelda botw are only fun until half of the way through.
Mario Odyssey was shit.
Mario Maker was just letting autists do what they've done for decades, only they need to pay for it.
Smash was solely carried by having a huge cast, and is entirely the same as previous entries.

All those games were treated as second coming of christ rather than the mediocre games they actually were.
 
I’ve been watching the Mario Kart World Direct and people are still bombarding the Live Chat section with the usual “drop the price” mantra.

They really do need to spice it up a bit, it feels like they haven't done anything but tweak Melee with each iteration, aside from adding Final Smash attacks. It's basically like if they improved the graphics with each Street Fighter 2 update. Still an awesome series though, not at all mediocre.

Fixed

I will stand by 64, Melee and Brawl all being their own thing even if they built upon each other in many ways. The series really didn't stagnate till Wii U and 3DS, where they started stripping the series down to the bare essentials of big roster and stage count.
